I saw that Jerry Jones called Randy Gregory the best pass rusher taken in the last 2 drafts.

I don't think much of Gregory but what is the projection for Dupree?

10 sacks this year? Will he become a dominant OLB?

Not sure about 10. He'll get his, but from his own mouth he wasn't physically ready for the longer season and the grind. He'll produce more later in the season, so I'll give him 4-5.

figuring 6-8 and hoping for 8-10. heck moats has gotten 4 a year here playing part time. if hargraves/mccullers, tuitt and heyward get after it, the numbers could rise for the outside rush and the inside rush (timmons and shazier). i think they will. we should see quite a difference in this defense this year. for the better.

If our CB'S can cover better than they did last year then he will get 10 plus if they continue to give up the 1 step drop throws over and over then I see him at about 7 sacks.

I'll say 8 sacks, 3 assists (where the QB tries to get away but ends up running into a sack from someone else), and 1 QB defecation from fear.

All depends how they use him, he has 9 sack potential this year. Attack and watch the w's grow.

I always temper my expectations with sacks for Steelers linebackers. I'll say 7, any more and I say thats a real solid year 2 for him. Can't remember any Steeler having a big sack season since Woodley in '09. A lot of depth, don't think Dupree will be a rotational guy anymore so we should see his numbers go up. I'm hoping anyway.

    I agree.

I'll be looking to see how Dupree raises the total sack numbers rather than his individual stats. I can see sacks coming from across the defense.

7-8 total. His edge setting ability, pass coverage and his ability to bend is what I am looking for. His explosion overall seems set.

I can easily see that 6-8 range for sacks. If he can clear the fog from the playbook, that explosiveness will jump out even more. I think that will be the key.

He had about 4 with spot duty...I'm going with 10!

I really like Bud and I hope he has about 50...no let us be reasonable and say 45. However, I'm guessing 8 is a good number that I would be happy with.

Expect great things from this youngster. He looked as though he was getting hestitant and confused last year. He will improve this year for sure. 8 sacks is my prediction

Well we definitely can't get much worse from last year. LOL! That was more the secondary though. Hargraves has me the most intrigued honestly.

I'll go with 7. Any less and he will be ripped as the mirror image of Jarvis. More, and he will be lighting it up. Makes you wonder why the sack total is so important. What if, other than sacks, he does everything else right? What then? Is he a bust?

Dupree has all the athleticism in the world. I was worried about him from the neck up but I can he came along in the scheme very quickly. The sky's the limit for him.

I stated something before the draft.

At best, he could be as good as James Harrison (Von Miller levels even should his growth improve drastically in year 3). At worst, he is Jason Worilds.
