Hello dere!

Just moved from the Denver area to the Pittsburgh area close to where I grew up and attended high school (WAHS) and college (SVC). I have always been a Steelers fan even back to pre-Noll days. I learned to pick a player or two and enjoy their play since back then the Steelers as a whole should have been called the Stinklers. My faith was rewarded big time in the 70s. I retired from the IT business which I enjoyed immensely. In my working life I only worked 4 years. All of the other years were pure enjoyment. Almost wish I had not retired ... almost! This seems to be an active and (ahem!) passionate board. Let the fun begin!

We frequent a local bar and grill, the Red Brick. Instead of the dinning room we favor seating in a two person booth across from a row of say 10 bar stools. We call it "dinner and a show." Some of the patrons and their topics of conversation are too funny. I'm on my stool and am enjoying the show!

 

Good to have another old fart onboard. Someone who can appreciate the 40 years of loosing. Welcome.

I lived in the Denver area for a while back in the 80's. Loved it. Loved skiing and just driving around the mountains.
