If you look at the teams who have won Superbowls they did it with some pretty great QBs for the most part.

    Steelers - 4 Bradshaw 2 Roethlisberger
    Cowboys - 3 Aikman 2 Staubach
    49ers- 4 Montana 1 Young
    Packers - 2 Starr 1 Favre 1 Rodgers

etc. This is a narrow window of opportunity.

Russell Wilson would not have won anything without the best defense in the NFL and teams selling out to stop Beastmode.

I like Russell Wilson but he isn't able to carry his team with his arm. He threw 21 times in the Super Bowl vs the Pats. He threw 5 INTs in the NFC Championship to get there.

The Steelers would probably be a sub .500 team with Wilson.

Uh...you better go see Ben's first Super Bowl season Morris. He WAS Russell Wilson that year. LOL. And his numbers in that Super Bowl against Seattle are nothing to write home to momma about either.

My point is that Wilson is still maturing. He threw for 4000 yards last year. So he's coming. Just like Ben did. Let''s not be so definitive on Wilson just yet.

I agree 100% that the 2014 Seahawks were built just like the 2005 Steelers.

They both had a great defense and a powerful running game.

I think stylistically both QBs scrambled in the pocket and were elusive though Wilson is more of a runner, and both had limited opportunities but made the big plays.

Also, Ben played great in getting to the Super Bowl. I know he played like crap in the big game itself but he had to get there first and if he hadn't made the game saving tackle against Indy or played lights out against Denver they wouldn't have made it at all.

Oh yeah, no doubt. And after we go back to back in the next two Super Bowls, we'll be the only team in the league with two QB's that have won 4 Super Bowls.:steelflag:
