The Steelers sign 10 rookie free agents

I was hoping they would pick up Eric Striker LB from OU, but Buffalo got him.

 

The first guy I checked out was the punter, because he's probably the one most likely to make it. He looks okay, worth giving a shot.

 

I was hoping they would get Matt Skura, Jonathon Jones, Jeremy Cash.

 

Stupid Ravens got Skura and Ochi, two guys I really liked.

I would be surprised if he makes the active roster, but I'll be pulling for him. He can get after the QB a bit, and has some natural athleticism, but it will be an uphill battle for sure for him to make the cut. He might be able to help out on special teams.

 

Canaan Severin had some nice grabs for West Virginia... He has some nice size too, I'm interested how he does in camp?

I'm surprised we didn't bring in more than one RB. We are on borrowed time with Deangelo Williams given his age, and I'm not sold on the backups to him and LevBell.

McCord looks like he has some potential, stash him on the practice squad and develop him.

Any news on QB Arbuckle? Also didn't they also invite another QB to their rookie camp?

 

I was kind of hoping for akil blount.... would've been a great story, but he chose Miami instead

 

486 undrafted players made 53 man rosters in week 1 in 2015 reported by the league......I wish we had beat Arians in signing undrafted Alabama QB Jake Koker, it's not often a QB wins a national championship and then goes undrafted......
