    Nah I think the guy in charge of counting was looking for the NFL rep with his hat and t-shirt and forgot to do his job.

    i was wondering the same thing. i would have sent out fifty-three guys for the next play.

    that will be a new rule to phase that out, one of 50 new ones they implement for next year.

    I thought the exact same thing. Still 9 seconds left, they are already in hail mary range, so it's time to make sure they don't get a big gainer on their second to the last play. Put in every linebacker and DB you have to drop back into coverage, and throw in some RBs and WRs to rush the passer. Good luck, Tom!

    Maybe if you have more than 12, it's a larger penalty? Like unsportsmanlike conduct or something? In any case, they wouldn't put more time on the clock.
