Naturally it depends who is on the board, but let's assume all the DTs and pass rushers are gone. Not really a good safety choice left. Alexander or Fuller are still on the board. Think you really gotta consider it.

Agreed, double dipping at corner to wind up with Burns and Fuller doubles our chances of finding a premiere corner and may lead to having two three years from now. Certainly helps depth in the secondary and special teams too.

Double dipping isn't the worse thing in the world. It would turn our #1 weakness into one of our strongest areas. That's the most you can get out of that situation.

I hope not, he's weak for a OLB as I read his draft breakdown.

For me I'd like to see Bell or Cash, but neither may be there at 58, and that goes for some of the DL mentioned. Seems the FO is high on Hargrave, and he may be there? One thing to note, they brought in several DBs and I don't think they are done at that spot. The kid from Southern Miss ( can't remember his name) is a 3rd rd possibility. One WR I'd like to see playing for us is Tyler Murphy. Watched him at the combine and he runs and catches like Doctson did, like it was natural, very smooth during the catch.

Tyler Murphy was on our PS last year and is now with the Dolphins. Maybe thinking of someone else??

My favorite target would be Sterling Shepard. Simmons would be my second. Thompson, C. Jones, Bullard, Fuller, Sean Davis are some others.

I think you mean Tyler Boyd from Pitt.

That's quite an assumption. If I thought it would do that, I'd be all about it. As it stands, there's a good chance Artie Burns could bust out completely, and Fuller has those medical flags.

I wouldn't be against trying, but we aren't exactly talking about safe, high-floor players here.

Yes that would excite me as well ,but didn't even have a glimmer of hope that could happen.

I was trying to make the best of that scenario. But now I'm bewildered by this Davis selection.

Hey, it's possible. They are a couple of boom/bust guys. You never know, we could get lucky.

    Keep hope alive!
