I'm reading there are concerns about his knee, some calling it a ticking time bomb due to a loss of cartlidge and bone ,,,, he is now dropping down some boards but not out of the 1st....

If he drops to 25 do we draft him??

I'm not really buying it personally, and I doubt he drops much if at all.

Not buying what? The facts I know are he missed most of 2015 with a knee injury ... Injury was said to be a torn meniscus..... Don't know the severity of it... Steelers Depot had an article on it saying Les Bowen's insiders were saying his knee was a time Bomb from the medical recheck....

Come draft day if drops out of the top 10 then we'll know it's true.... How far he drops who knows.....

But if it's true and drops past the boys, jags, fins, Giants and bills and makes it to us do we draft him?

I'd take those 4 guys in exchange for our 1st 4 picks.

I saw the tweet yesterday, too.

Not buying that he's starting to drop down some boards. Stories from a source about a prospect's potential future health pop up just before the draft every year.

I get that, its the dubious game playing pre-draft.........

Thing is Jack is an ILB...... projected as a top pick..... That just doesn't happen for ILBers on any kind of regular basis if ever. That speaks of what a real good player he is BUT meniscus tears don't usually require that long of a healing period Unless its a serious tear........... which leads to the rumors having some validity.......maybe

Was just coming to post this, Turtle. Colbert also used the word disgusting this time last year to describe this type of stuff.

The comment in there about Von Bell was interesting too.

Bell could very easily be in play in the first round for us. I still think we are highest on Billings and Jackson 3, but if those two are gone and Bell is available... Then I think he could be the guy.

I'm not so sure about that, too many question marks due to injuries.

I'd stay far away from Jack. Just saw the cowboys doctor report on his knee and the only way I'd bother with him is in the 7th round.

Our draft picks are so precious to us that we can't afford to be wrong considering our limited use of free agency.

Outside of the Jaylon Smith injury, I would not be too concerned with the other three. Granted, Fuller is not likely to be in play considering out of the past 15 drafts since 2000, all of Pittsburgh's corner-backs selected were Seniors and Fuller does not fit Pittsburgh's draft history.

Now Karl Joseph could be in play; especially considering what we saw with Todd Gurely a year ago. ACL injuries are not as ravenous nor career threatening as they once were due to the advancements in sports rehab and treatment. If anything, by all accounts, Karl is likely the person to be selected earlier than most people think due to his timetable in addition towards some teams schedules; his tempo setting play and ridiculous athleticism no less.

Myles Jack is not likely to fall out of the top 10 for me. Too athletic (even without the 40, short and three cone) and too versatile. My issue with Jack is not his ridiculous ceiling (absurdly high) but his versatility alone. Versatility is his greatest gift and greatest curse as teams may put immense responsibilities on him; stymieing his development to be an all caliber player. Jack just needs to learn one position to be "that guy" for whatever team selects him. Forcing him to do more in his rookie season will yield developmental consequences results going forward; same goes for Jalen Ramsey.

I feel for the kid. From a meniscus to now a future Micro fracture surgery. Do we take him in the 2nd, I think someone will, or stay away?

Not a chance, I wouldn't be surprised if he fell to the third

I think there's a chance he ends up with the Browns in the second. They've got enough picks to make that gamble and not hurt so much.

What a talented player, I watched him play both LB and RB at UCLA, played both positions very well, it's a fact he will have to have a more serious surgery on his knee with no guarantee on the outcome, but if a team can draft him late enough say 5th round and can afford to spend a year carrying him on IR, they could get a big payoff, or in the worst case, he will never play in the NFL, what a talent just to see him in this predicament, he looked so sad at the draft last night, I felt sorry for him.....

I think the Cowboys can take him. I think we should've taken him in the first.

He can either be supported or everyone can collectively give up on him.

Depending on which happens will determine his success.

Except if he goes to Cleveland, then he's a bust regardless.

Just hoping him and a couple more QB's get taken ahead of our pick so we can have a crack at a good D-lineman or Linebacker.

I bet Jack isn't even on our board until we get to maybe round 3, and maybe not even then. We have been known to take high risk/high reward players in that round. I could see us taking him then, but not before.
