    Don't know what is so hard to understand about a guy blaming xyz as the reason to sitting as trying to save face when millions of dollars are on the line. But, I know, I know, Steelers are dummies that don't know what they are doing, Eagles too (well, Chip Kelly, they might be) and so are the teams that weren't breaking down his door in free agency. I wonder if Josh Norman will sign a vet minimum :hmm:

    The Eagles are a joke. They gave up a 2nd and Foles for Bradford. Bradford is made of glass and has a huge contract worth 17.5/year.

    They signed Chase Daniels to a 7M per year contract when he has 1 career touchdown.

    They traded Kiko Alonso, Byron Maxwell, the 13 th pick in 2016, 3rd and 4th 2016, 1st 2017, and a 4th in 2018 to move up to grab either Goff or Wentz.

    I think that was a horrible move because I think it will be Wentz. (I said Goff was my favorite QB in the draft months ago but I don't think he should be #1 overall by any stretch).

    Wentz has a big arm but in games he lobs rainbows like Chad Pennington or Johnny Manziel.

    It's ironic you think the Eagles know what they're doing in personnel when I was about to make a post about how they mortgaged their future for a QB from a small school whose big arm does not show up in games. My take is that the Eagles are the new Browns.

    I think we just are polar opposites or something.

    I also think Boykin was smart to go to a contender with a good defense like Carolina. I thought he should play nickel for 1 year for Seattle but same thing.

    Rather than take a contract that would get him 1-2.5/yr for say 3 years Boykin has a chance to get a serious contract of 5+M/yr.

    Maxwell got a 6 year 63M contract for playing nickel for Seattle. Maxwell has the size to match up with big receivers though Boykin won't see half that.

    Still... Boykin needed a year to get his value up.

    nope...as long as you have mod juice, you can believe whatever you want. There is a reason why he's dropped on all the mocks, your not more informed then them.

    Well, we will find out in a week if he's a first rounder or not.

    I think it pretty comical though that you keep citing mocks like they are some kind of scientific data and of course, just the ones that you've found that have him mocked out of the first round, count, right :lolol:

    Yeah, I didn't want to say anything, but I wondered what that was about. Mocks are fun, but these mocks are mostly just a way to get page views and stay relevant. I don't really pay attention to them, but if you had a first round grade on a prospect and changed their ranking significantly based on their performance and college statistics a week before the draft- you're a fraud or you suck at your job.

    Having said that, Alexander is one of those prospects that is hard to evaluate. He's graded all over the place. It will be interesting to see where he lands.

    Fellas, I hope Alexander does go in the first round; before pick number 25. Because that will be good for us. But if he's on the board at # 25, even before we select anyone, that tells you he wasn't as highly thought of as some of you think.

    That's why I always keep my notes from past drafts. Just to see how right I was or how wrong I was.

    I just wish the old steelers.Com archives was still accessible. I would present you with all my evidence why I thought Darelle Revis was a short, slow bum. :thumbs_up:
