Burns seems like a nice young man. His Mom died not too long ago so he has had to deal with a lot. In the Rooneys we trust. Welcome to Steeler Nation.

I think we all question how our staff evaluates CBs.

the pit in my stomach.... i can't believe we took Burns over Billings and Ogbah.

I wanted a DB in the first as much as anyone (wjiii and joseph)....

this one is gonna be fun to look back on it 3 years...

Burns was in the next group of DBs. With all that DL talent we take a reach pick. Colbert and crew got scared.

BS with the lack of talent the Steelers have in the secondary he will play this season, he might not start right away.

In case people didn't know great story on him:

Burns' mother Dana Smith died last October of a heart attack at the age of 44. Along with his own grieving, Burns became the de facto caretaker of two younger brothers along with his own infant son.

    Just got home.

    Wow. Just, wow.

If you were willing to REACH for a CB, you should have been willing to TRADE UP FOR ONE!!!!

And if not, trade down and and get more picks. Or go BPA. I wanted secondary help badly. This isn't it.

(But I'll be happier than a pig in **** if he proves me wrong)

I have no idea why we didn't attempt to make that move with Denver.

I just can't believe Burns had the highest grade on their board. You might as well have taken Jack, neither will see the field next year and would have been much happier with that pick instead.

Yes they ran up to the podium. Meanwhile the Broncos were probably calling us to make a trade...

nfl.com has him at 6' 193 lbs. world class speed and could be the best qb in draft eventually

Yeah, but I think they broke the NFL draft record, for quickest pick, when they selected JJ.;)
