So Iron City sucks, Carling sucks but Yuengling is good. Got it. I normally just drink Vodka anyway but I'll give em a try. You don't see a lot of Carling round here very much anymore but it was popular when I was growing up, I can't imagine anything being worse than Carling.

OK so the schedule worked out pretty good. Gonna see them at Philly on the 25th and then drive up to Pittsburgh to see the Chiefs game on the 2nd. So I know someone said there were no college games going on the weeknd of the 25th so does anyone know what the schedule is for the following week? Also is there any Baseball or pre-season NHL games that week?

    Thanks.

Don't think the hockey schedule is out yet.

The last home game for the Pirates in the regular season is Friday September 29. They are on a home stand from the 25th to the 29th.

Looks like both the Pitt Panthers and Penn St are home on OCT 1.

I would think this stuff would be easy to figure out but I'm planning a trip to Spain at the end of the Summer and want to catch an FC Barcelona match and a Real Madrid match and was told the schedules don't come out til June or July or something and it's all so confusing to me so here are the schedules for the three closest college football teams. Personally, I would opt for a Penn State game just because it's such a legendary venue. Pitt shares Heinz Field with the Steelers so I would think it'd be less interesting to simply see a different team in the same venue.

In Philly, you've gotta get a cheesesteak (I would suggest Tony Luke's, Pat's King of Steaks and Geno's are the legendary spots across the corner from each other, and any local you ask will give you a completely different spot). Also, there's a fun Irish bar in Old City called Plough & the Stars. I would recommend that. And Beiler's doughnuts inside the Reading Terminal produce the greatest food items I've ever placed in my mouth.

Yea we've already heard of Geno's. We are gonna be in Pittsburgh from Thursday 29th until Tuesday 4th so I don't think we can get to Penn State and I've just looked at the prices of the tickets and it's insanely expensive compared to the Pitt game.
