Same exact story every year. He should be down to 160 lbs by now.

    Hey, more power to him...

He is recognizing that his body takes some maintenance, to do what it used to do...

I think he has realized it since he turned 30, but, with a new wife and baby boy, it is easy to get lazy and fall into bad habits..

That, and 100 million dollar food budget...

    All kidding aside,

I think he was just used to his body taking care of itself...

And has realized that after you hit 30, you need to help your body...

Not to mention the injuries his body has taken on the football field, and off...

Yes, It`s a recurring theme, but at least it shows that he takes it seriously...

Somethin` tells me Silverback, has had some conversations with him, and probably, Hines, Da Beard, Aaron Smith, etc, about how to keep his body healthy enough to keep getting those big paychecks, and compete, at a level, he is used to being able to do...

I think he is taking them seriously, and that bodes well for us!!!

He`s never gonna be a lean 180 pounder... He can be a pretty effein strong 240 pounder in good shape, thru his 30~s...

There`s a reason he has been called "Big Ben":...

I don`t think he`s ever had to really work at keepin his weight down, before, but, now,

Father time, and a good cooking wife, are gonna make him work at it...

Sounds like he is dedicated to it...

    I`m glad to hear it!:herewego!:

I remember reading an article during Ben's first Father's Day in which he stated his wife made him a Cheesy Chicken Casserole for the occasion. I was shocked and appalled, and thought my quarterback deserved a Porterhouse for Father's Day, not some Cheesy Chicken Casserole that the peasants eat. :lolol:
