I saw that touchbacks on kickoffs come out to the 25 yard line now.

Yeah and I don't really get why that needed to be changed.

Don't like the name plate call for a horse collar

Don't worry they could make it the whole jersey and they still wouldn't call it in our favor

    Kick off returns are dangerous.
    They're trying to eliminate them.

So they're basically trying to "incentivize" taking a knee?

No they figure if they're kicking off from there then the other team should get it from there

I think it's to even out these blast it through the end-zone crap fests that take us to commercial breaks.

Of-course it changes when the Steelers suddenly get halfway decent at it though....:facepalm::facepalm:

Yeah that definitely does seem to make sense. I wish they would make a rule that says db's can't give huge cushions... LOL!

We can't return kickoffs anyway so that rule won't hurt us.

I really hate the XP distance. The Pats missed the Superbowl off a missed XP (so it does have an upside).

My interpretation is that the XP exists to give a team an option of taking a gimme 1 or going for 2.

I hate that a kicker now decides many games based on 33 yard field goals.

Great for kickers and bad for everyone else.

The no chop block rule is going to make DL that much harder to block. That's fine though.

I think it's a good rule. Chop blocks are cheap. Pouncey thinks it's a good rule haha. Cut blocks need to stay though.

The illegal timeout rule is horribly stupid. Delay of game happens when the play clock expires. Period.

We don't need a Michigan Chris Webber event in an important playoff game.

NFL just making rules for the sake of making rules.

And horse collars are now ambiguous. That's going to be fun.
