Florida, people. Hollywood, Florida. Fort Lauderdale, actually. Sun-Sentinel is the paper reporting this.

To each their own but if I'm paying that kind of money for a house I'd like to not be able to reach my arm out of my window and touch my neighbor's house!

Agreed. Also, if I paid that kind of money, it darn well better be waterfront.

I'm with you. My nearest neighbor is 1/2 a mile away. I can walk around in my yard in my lucky underwear and no one cares.

I concur. When you pay dough like that, you should be able to go comando; at least in your backyard. :)

I just looked at the satellite view. NO WAY would I come off of $6.6 Mil from what I know about it, thus far, "via satellite". That thing would have to go underground at least 10 stories with at least one of those rooms being as large as a football field ! It MUST have some special meaning, history, or the inside be made of diamonds and gold !?!? I'm Jewish, and no way would I pay "$6 mil extra" for a $600,000 crib just because it has a temple in it ! The temple would take up perhaps 1/3td of the house, then what's left ?? lol. Will def. need more info on this one...

    However, "Shalom" AB !!

The price is pretty much location driven. That's an expensive town. There is a house across the street for sale for 1.17 million that's pretty nice, though much more modest (and apparently lacking a synagogue). Nice house, pool and putting green though. And... an interesting neighbor.

For 6.6 million dollars that house incorporates a whole lot of ugly but I'm just a country boy so my taste is much different.

The only thing about that house I like is the water in the pool.
