    Steelers Depot is reporting that the team has resigned Gay, but that hasn't been confirmed by the team yet. Interesting news if true. The dollars will be key whether or not it's a good signing.

    I'm thinking if a Ryan Clark kind of guy is available at CB, at a fair price, they will go after him.

    And still a CB in the draft. We just won't have to reach if all the top guys are gone.

    His agent confirms the signing adding, "He really wants to be a Steeler for life."

    Right now the starters are:
    LCB - Cortez
    RCB - Cockrell
    NB - Gay
    DB - Golson

    So yes, I hope the make a move in free agency so they can cut Cortez

    I think a lot of the guys are wanting to stay around, the future of our team look bright the next few years.
    Why go to Jacksonville or some place for a million or 2 more?
    Not really worth it, I'm sure in their eyes.

    Not that its gospel, but every beat writer that I have seen asked about him says he will be cut before then.

    I'm still hoping he can return to form and earn the contract he was given. I'm stubborn like that.
