The Walking Dead (no comics spoilers)

I'm actually enjoying the pace of the show. I don't ever want to have another hour and a half show like the Morgan-centric borefest ever again. There's lots of story to tell yet, and the story needs to develop at a continuous pace to keep my interest. Otherwise, I get bored.

Something I forgot to mention in my prior post is that I am really enjoying the developing friendship between Daryl and Dr. Denise. She told Daryl he reminds her of someone she used to know. I wonder who that could be. Maybe a brother or something. Or maybe she wasn't always gay and it's a prior boyfriend. I dunno.

Also, I just want to say I'm glad I use Jiffy and not Bisquick. Gross!

A few things here, I agree about not having another Morgan borefest. I knida wish they didn't skip so much from when Carl got shot till after they cleaned up the town. I feel they could of had some character bonding there and possibly more........lol!
Another thing is I am not sold on Dr. Denise, I just think that was a cheap out....jmo we shall see! Abraham what are you thinking Rosetta(sp) is pretty hot....think before the dink!!!! As they were showing them laying there I was wondering if they were going have to change the name of the show to....The Walking Porn!!!!!!

Yeah but that was what I was referring to, they could have done something like while they were cleaning up the town they well......bond. I think a town full of walkers one show with walls down and then a clean town and new walls left a little out, jmo. lol

 

I agree, I thought it felt a little jarring to go from everything happening so fast and Carl being shot to everything being calm and almost Beaver Cleaver like.

 

Yeah but Morgan and Carol will have a showdown somewhere. I'm sure you'll be in Morgans corner.

 

Haha! Yeah, those two are at such opposite extremes so you never know... It could happen. I would like to see them find some common ground and meet somewhere in the middle. I would laugh my butt off if they hook up.

 

Oh man, that would almost be more awkward that Richonne. Could we ever see.......Moaral?

 

Ok so as we get ready for the big show I have been thinking will there be a big time character die and if so who? If you read spoilers don't post but I just have a feeling Carol is gonna get it. I just feel like her place in this group is changing and as long as she is around Daryl isn't hooking up with anyone else, thoughts?

 

I haven't read any spoilers or heard any rumors, but I, of course, would not be the least bit upset if that were the case. I would rejoice.

 

I was meaning before the season is over I am pretty sure no big timers die tonight. However once the battle with Negan happens I am sure someone will.

 

I was just about to post that things seemed to be going entirely too easy.

Well I will say this there was no lack of action, is Negan a woman?

 

On another note how about Abraham's one liners on this show, yet another classic tonight.......

 

No. I don't know if she's Negan's right hand woman or who she is, but it looks like you guys have another hagress to adore.

I'm so mad at Abraham and don't think I like him anymore. That was not a very nice way to break up with Rosita. Poor girl.

I could actually get behind Tobin and Carol as a couple. I never thought Carol and Daryl were suited for each other. Now that's not to say that I like her now because I don't. She's starting to smoke cigarettes now and is keeping a diary of her kills.

Glenn and Father Gabriel (who rocked it tonight!) got their first kills. Heath not so much.

 

Didn't think it would be that easy to take out Negan. All they accomplished was pissing off Negan and now they lost the element of surprise.

 

I thought I read this before on here but after last nights show I was like omg. Should have known it wasn't going to be that easy. I think with Daryl being a favorite he is gonna be safe. I think carol and or Maggie are gonners....probably Maggie since she has the baby. I am not liking the way Rick is changing.......oh well.
