at this perfect pocket the O Line presented to Ben in the raiders game. I think it is proof if they stay Big Ben Pocket.jpg healthy they can be one of the best O Lines.

Definitely not a blitz. If we ran that D, our secondary would still leave a receiver open.

Well we were just talking about the oline in another thread so why not here as well. Pouncey's cap number the next 4 years....10.5, 11, 10.5 and 7.9 mil. Gilbert not so bad his cap number the next 4 years....6.4, 6.5, 6.5, and 5.8 mil. Decastro has a cap hit of 8 mil and then will be a free agent, Foster and Beachum are FA's this year, AV is gonna make 525k this year and filled in very well for Beachum. I hope they extend Decastro this year and sign him long term but that makes 3 guys getting paid on the line, how can we afford Beachum and Foster and still improve the defense?

I know we have to protect Ben but that is a lot of money right there and let's not forget Bell, Bryant, AB all want to get paid. Speaking of Ben let's not forget his big contract, we cant fit them all under the cap have to pick and choose right?

Easy to create a pocket when the Raiders are dropping 8 into coverage. But still I agree with the premise of the thread. The proof is just a little on the weak side. :roflmao:

I think our OL is in very good shape . The 1 weak link to me is Foster. He can't pull which limits our run plays and PA and route tree off of those plays. I have watched the tape on our resident Proctologist and he is doing a fine job at Center . DD is a stud and if we could put another stud at Guard we would be in great shape. We have that guy already on the roster, but the Steelers will never move him to Guard , but they should..
