I really like the last 2 picks. The third and fourth round would be a great time to pick up a G. Idk much about Turner, but it's a good spot to take one IMO. Houston-Carson makes a lot of sense. He's a very good athlete and has position flexibility. He also went to Tomlin's alma mater, so we are definitely going to at least give him a good look to see if we're interested. I'm meh on Mills. I think he's okay and wouldn't hate the pick, but he's not one of my favorite players this year. Honestly I think Rankins is a good player, but I'd be pissed if we drafted a DT in the first round. That would be a colossal waste IMO. With how much nickel we play a true NT would hardly see the field, and a DT would take Heyward/Tuitt off the field in Nickel. I'd prefer we went elsewhere with our first pick.

If you switch Rankins for Braxton Miller tho, I'd sign up for these first four rounds in a hearbeat

I was wondering how many picks we get since we traded away at least two I believe

I like Rankins, but not sold on Mills. Turner would be a good 3rd. I wanna see how Houston-Carson does at the combine, I've only seen limited stuff on him.

I understand what you're saying. Just looking for depth on the dl and it seemed to me we definitely need to spell Camhey and Tuitt more next year
god they seem used up and I fear if one gets hurt then we are stuck.
I read where Rankins moved outside some last year too and played well what would that mean with the players we have and might lose
    Thomas gone McClendon gone?
It sounds like he is versatile
Maybe it is a luxury pick.

If the kid can play all over the line, then I'd have to consider him. He's a good player and probably would be a really good fit. I just don't want us to take a NT. If he can play DT in the 43 nickel and both NT and DE min base, then he would be very valuable for the defense and probably worth taking in the first round.

I guess what I'm saying is that if we're gonna go DL, that guy better be able to play all over the line so he can log enough snaps to jusitfy the selection at 25. Idk if Rankins is that guy or not, but if he is then I'd be okay with taking him.
