Physical corners get away with a lot these days...Holding receivers arms, hitting after 5 yards and knocking them down, bear hugs in the end-zone.

The odd call is worth a key in-completion on a crucial 3rd down....

If you play for the right team... or against the right team anyway.

We get called. Every. Time. (Thankfully, in an odd way, we don't get called too often, because our DBs are so busy back peddling, they rarely get close enough to be called.)

We rarely get the calls though (see Denver game. Or Seattle even).

Look, I'm not saying it's a grand conspiracy. But the inconsistency of the calls, and the clear favoritism with those calls for certain teams - intentional or not - is a problem. I don't think it's a pipe dream to expect some consistency with it. And don't give me "the refs let that go in big games. They don't want to influence the game." By ignoring it, they ARE influencing the game.

Denver's D is probably good enough to shut them down without the shenanigans. But make them earn it.

    Or...

Revert back to the days before the Mel Blount rule. Make damn certain to get DPI correct whenever it happens. Everyone is now on the same playing field... theoretically. Talib might still get away with DPI on a routine basis.
