Zumwalt isn't on the Steelers anymore, he was waived injured during training camp.

 

That was what I thought but I just read and article and it mentioned him so I thought they signed him back. I was one that had high hopes for him.....oh well. And of course now I can't find that article....lol!

 

i would say golden if is resigned ... i liked him in the last few games when was in

 

I believe Golden should be signed as I thought he came on as well.

Agreed. He was fairly solid and should come at a decent price.

Everything I've read said he was waived. Interesting.

 

he was waived/injured so was vandyke and palmer. they are all still listed on the IR list. if they cleared waivers they could be brought back and were.

I too thought the steelers cut ties with him but then I read this article(thanks for finding) and I was like cool maybe there is a chance.......be interesting to see.

he was on IR.

 

For some reason I thought the Steelers reached an injury settlement with him, but according to the article he will be here next year. I like it not gonna cost us much and like I said I had hopes of him making the team...if not more.

 

they did reach an injury settlement with him. that kept us from having to pay him his draft pick money. then we brought him back off waivers and IR'ed him for the rest of the season at less money last year and this year. he can be cut during preseason and if we do won't count towards the cap now. if not cut he will have a minimal contract.

 

Thanks, I like many here must have missed where we resigned him back but good to know. Not sure if he will pan out but well worth the chance and really nothing to lose. I for one am rooting for him, I liked him coming out of college. The one thing I didn't like was he is kinda an in-between guy could be inside could be outside and I think not knowing has hurt him a bit.

 

Dupree just needs to adjust to long season and that will not be a problem with one under his belt. I think his was on during camp. senquez will be fine as well. I think even though he didn't play this year. he said he learned the system and took in as much info as he can. I really think he starts next year.

grant for me. we need him to be a starter either at cb or some talk about moving him to safety. either way he needs to realize his potential.

 

i don't expect a great deal from him but we need some bodies there. spence and what happens with garvin and timmons could create a void at a once strong position. fort is a guy i'm banking on as making some noise for one of the inside spots.

 

I thought Zumwalt had a chance to develop when he got drafted, then he was always injured couldn't stay on the field to watch him in the preseason. I don't think he will be around much longer.

 

That's what I was thinking about Shamarko. The lights on, but it's only a 25 watt bulb.
