need some quick feedback please

i have a nephew who loves the steelers. he has out grown his jersey and wants one as soon as possible.lol apparently this is a major crisis. he wants to wear it next Friday to school. you can wear your favorite teams jersey Friday for super bowl weekend.

Timmons is his favorite player but he is afraid he wont be here next year or year after. he doesn't believe me so I am asking for some opinions. will we really let him go? I cant believe we would but money always rules out

I would try Amazon. They should have what u need.

 

Yeah, he should be here next year but in 2-3 years who knows. Harrison is probably the only player on defense I'd get right now because it will be a nice throwback to have. Maybe Cam Heyward.

 

My advice would be to get him the Timmons. If that's his favorite player, then he will always want to wear his jersey. If my Kordell Stewart or Jerome Bettis jerseys still fit, they'd still be in my jersey rotation.

 

I think they'll restructure Timmons' contract.
That said, Hayward is locked up for a few years, so he's a safe bet (and a good player and role model).

 

I think Timmons will be restructured. My guess is he plays out the string with the Steelers.

 

Tomlins first pick is probably a sentimental favorite. Plus he's a stud on the field. He comes back imo. Much better next year since the toe should be healed.

He wants Timmons, get Timmons. He's a great player and role model, and if that's his favorite player, he'll follow him to another team and continue to enjoy him.

Suppose Timmons is on Cleveland in 3 years. I still can't imagine your nephew looking at the jersey and regretting it. Quite the opposite, I'd bet.

Plus, I think there's a good chance Timmons is the next Farrior, just playing forever and ever with us until his wheels fall off.

 

Get the Timmons.
It sounds like he's fairly young. If that's the case, he'll probably outgrow it before Timmons is no longer a Steeler, so it really doesn't matter. Plus if he's a fan of the player, there's nothing wrong with following him on another team. Harrison and Porter each spent a year in Cincinnati.

 

I think the answer is get the Timmons one.

Favourite players are favourite players, whether they're here or not.

I say there's no way Timmons isn't back next year. The players call him "Tomlin's favorite" and I just don't think they let him go. I'm glad he wants to represent defense too. That's the Steeler way. LOL!

 

I'd go with the Steven Jackson jersey. The guys a stud.
