Brady is great at what he does, but I still have a hard time respecting him, because of his dink dunk style. He's incapable of completing a pass down field to a WR. They take advantage of mismatches of LB covering a TE, slot or RB. Except for the Bowl vs Carolina, the Pats D is why they have their SB titles.

Even that 2008 defense never played Brady like that.

Defense wins championships. I believe it and today I believe it even more. That's my perspective on today. People can call this a "qb driven league" right now and to a degree that's true but in reality it's an "o line league" because if you don't have the horses up front I don't care who your qb is. Put Manning or Brady behind some of the crap lines Ben has had over the years and they wouldn't look nearly as good as they have.

Actually, in 2011, Tomlin, Arians and LeBeau actually made adjustments and beat the Cheats**. BUT, they never did anything similar again.

Also in the opening game this season, they got to Brady but not enough. The Steelers secondary was the Keystone Cops out there leaving Gronk wide open.

Yeah, but Denver was getting hits on Brady left and right, that is something Steelers never did, even when they beat them. Even with that great 2008 defense.

Earlier this year they got to Brady, but only on Safety blitzes.

Our defense likely would have been torched, but our offense would have done some torching of their own.

It will be an enjoyable SB regardless of who wins now that NE is out.

I'll be rooting for Denver though, I like Manning, would be a good story seeing him go out on top. Plus, its just wrong that Eli has more rings then him :lolol:
