All week I have been up and down. Felt great about beating them, then I didn't. Usually I'm always against the jinx and try to do reverse juju, but whatever. I really dug down deep, and these are my personal thoughts on the matter.

    1. Stats don't lie. Peyton is bad in cold weather, not great in the postseason, had his worst stats this season, and is just coming off surgery. Put them all together and that is what we will see. Now, I feared Brock coming in relief should he do bad but guess what, HE IS HURT TOO! (MCL) (yes I'm aware peyton could blow us up, but if he does he deserves it) Peyton is like 1-5 division games

    2. I think Ben is playing mind games. Yes he is hurt, but not as bad as we all think. One solid hit though and it's the end. I think Brown is 50/50 at this point, I wasn't optimistic all week. Ben is 4-0 division games.

    3. not enough film on TnT. I think they have a subpar-average day, but this helps tremendously.

    4. I think Ben knows you don't get to this stage often. He knows his window is closing and I'm sure he would like revenge for the 2011 debacle. I believe he will do everything in his power to fire up the boys.

    5. Nobody is giving the Steelers a chance. I like that.

Best reason IS Peyton Manning. He is clearly not as effective as OsWeiler is. Not as mobile and not as strong of a arm. Yes he has the experience...but he is still older, rusty, and is a statue in the pocket.
He still can be dangerous...but only IF Tomlin decides to not go all out after him, and just has his guys sit in Tomlin's Cover-2 zone...which Sanders LOVES...and where Manning thrives in attacking.

Steelers D is going to have to man up(literally) and we will need to be aggressive with schemes. Make peyton go happy feet and we might just win.

At 39, and a lot of games under his belt...Manning no longer has Happy feet...more like " Cement shoes " :roflmao:

Tomlin's teams sh#$ the bed vs terrible teams in games we should win.

Ergo, in the game that there's no shot we win, we come out on fire! :herewego:

A win in Denver would be amazing considering the injuries the Steelers have suffered this year. A win would not surprise me... and a loss would not surprise me. I won't be surprised by either outcome. I don't know why... but I'm not experiencing the same pressure that I normally do for division round playoff games.

IIRC Sanders tore us up at the start of the game this year then disappeared. Did a change in our defensive posture account for that?

The reason the Steelers will beat Denver is because the Steelers are going to win the SB this year. It's time for #7,

If we do, this run would be even more magical than 2005, and I will also root for Bills lol

Manning isn't what he used to be, but you've still got to respect the fact that he's Peyton Manning. He's as healthy as he's been in a long time, so we shall see.
