broncos talking payback to wallace

i saw this on PTI. they were saying the broncos are out to get wallace back for the late hit on their DB. here we go again.

 

heard it's the ref crew from the giants/panthers game, where OBJ and Norman weren't able to be controlled. wonder if things will get out of hand

 

Wallace?

 

Cody Wallace. Remember in the home game v. Denver? Broncos tackled Brown and arguably stood him up while another Bronco came in to "clean him up", then Wallace came flying in late and pounded Broncos safety Bruton, who was just standing around the pile.

 

For some reason, the only Wallace I could think of was Mike! I get it now! I feel as dumb as Pacman!

 

Can they not find a crew that can call a game fairly and still maintain control? The NFL needs to fix this problem with their officials.

 

No, if you were as dumb as Pac man, you would be saying it was the referees fault you forgot who Cody Wallace was.

 

Just an FYI:

The playoff crews are not constituted the same as the regular-season crews. Terry McAulay, the assigned Referee for the PIT-DEN game, also was Referee for the messy NYG-CAR game. The Umpire for Sunday is from McAulay's regular crew, but the others (HL, LJ, FJ, SJ, and BJ) each are from different officiating crews. Admittedly, the Referee and Umpire are probably the two zebras most involved in the action. But the Field, Side and Back Judges were the ones most involved in overseeing (and controlling) Beckham Jr. and Norman. The three for this weekend's game hopefully will perform better.

 

pepper spray, tazers? i would have liked to see burfict flopping around on the ground.

 

I thought the same thing so don't feel bad...

 

I doubt if they said anything like that in public, head hunting has been severely dealt with in the past with the saints by the league, and a warning was issued that any future head hunting incidents would receive severe sanctions as well...

 

I can't imagine the NFL being stupid enough not to tell the officiating crew to keep things in check, this time.

 

Nah, if that were the case, you'd say that the db that wallace hit faked the whistle to get that late hit called.

 

In fairness what Cody did was so wrong. Could have crippled the guy Bruton who was only standing near the pile. If that happened one of our players we would be up in arms.

Similarly how Burfict went out of his way to take out our Steelers.

Reckon whatever Denver dish out can be considered fair. And they aren't a dirty team under Kubiak. Within the lines think Wallace can expect a pounding

 

Would say Talib is dirty. Would also say it is a well known fact that the Denver team is a tough but clean squad not known for any type of head-hunting or intentional injuring of opponents

 

If they were at all serious about getting payback on Dr Wallace they wouldnt say a word. posers. Hope Cody pancakes a few donkeys.

 

Wallace is a big boy and can handle himself. Talk is cheap, just play football.

 

I was at the DEN-PIT game (I never get tired of saying that!). The crowd initially booed the 15-yard penalty ... but then they they saw the replay on the big screen and booed Wallace.
