    Steelers aren't a dirty team.

Harrison has been our most fined player but all of his fines come from hits before the whistle and nothing off the field.

Harrison has gone helmet to helmet and knocked a few players out. He really does form tackle though. He does not launch except that one on Massaquoi I think it was.

People are calling Ward dirty. You know you're a pussy when you're complaining about the smallest guy on the field throwing legal blocks (in his era).

I think fans are just tired of getting their asses kicked and make **** up.

I would curtail the dancing celebrations effectively immediately and if the said person receives
a personal foul/penalty he will be fined extensively for it. C'mon guys, were better than this, CUT IT OUT.
Play with some pride , play like you have been there before. Show some class, your sinking to other
    organization's level STOP IT.

I remember Harrison getting fined for doing exactly what burfict did to ben, for bringing all his body weight down on a QB, marvin lewis should be fired for allowing certain players like burfict to play undisciplined, and for losing 5 straight playoff games, thats what marty shotenheimer was fired for with the chargers after he posted a 14-2 record but lost his first playoff game, burfict should be permanently banned from the NFL or at least serve a 1 year suspension....

Agreed. Absolutely love the one where they just walk up and give the exaggerated hand shake. That should be the go to celebration.

I've been hearing most of those this morning from the Bengals fans I work with. At least most are admitting how dirty Vontaze Jerkfest is.

Haters gonna HATE. Screw them. Doesn't matter what others think. All that matters is that our players have their heads on straight and are singularly focused on winning #7. That's it. Cut out the silly celebration stuff and play football. Other than that we are good.

Some national radio guys this morning (Tiki and Tierney) were defending Burfict this morning, and I remember another said the Steelers should be happy they won, but they should feel dirty the way it happened. Greeney from Mike and Mikee thinks Munchak wa the worst offender from the game.

Unbelievable! A lot of Steeler haters out there.

The idea that the refs favour us has been around since the Seahawks superbowl.

Now, the way the rules have been made so complex, it's difficult for any team to win without being accused of ref bias, let alone when it happens in the bizarre way it did against the Bengals.

I think, as others have said, it's just a shame that the rest of the game is getting overlooked. It reminds me a bit of how with deflategate everybody was anti the Pats, but after a week of talking about it, the talking heads had turned the narrative around.

An important point about Harrison is that he was drawing those flags and incurring the fines just as the NFL was changing its rules and (sometimes overly) aggressively enforcing them. He drew flags and notoriety because he's a tough, physical, and hard-hitting player. But it subsided as he changed his style of play to fit within the new rules mindset.

In some circles, (Madden Tatum, etc.) the referee favoring has been going on since Franco's catch!

Most if not all of the pundits do not watch the games. They look at stats, watch the highlights and maybe catch a portion of the game. Then they decide how they want to react and go on the air and spout garbage. It's all about saying whatever will get them the most response, not the truth.
