Dude I've never been this emotional in a Steelers game since the 05 Colts game. I don't even know how to feel right now.

I'd be there to but I forgot to take my BP pill this morning and took it at like 5 pm, it has a side effect of being anti anxiety as well. So I was edge of my seat but calm to.

Nature of the game I suppose. I mean I want them to go all the way but realistic to know it is an up hill climb.

"In the moment" though it is almost impossible to think rationally. I still haven't completely gathered myself. My side is literally hurting from screaming at the tv. I honestly feel kinda bad for wearing my heart on my sleeve as much as I did tonight.

That is where I was in 05 during the Colts game. My folks had invited this elderly couple they know over for dinner and the Troy interception and screw job happened when they got there and then the Colts started coming back. Then they were invited for the SB and I was like yeah I will be watching elsewhere than with the family.

Yeah the kids are at their Auntie's tonight(pronounced AINTEE down here LOL!) because my wife is painting the upstairs living room. So I watched it in the downstairs living room but they would have probably not slept well tonight if they had been here and we have a big house. I live on a 40 acre farm and don't have neighbors that aint family but I bet my mamaw heard me across the yard about 30yds out our back door and my Auntie lives about 200yds across the field. So they STILL might have heard me now that I think about it. I just hope I have a voice for my sermon in the morning. Dude I am just wired UP right now! I DESPERATELY wanted to win this game once it got so chippy and the bungles dj's pulled that classless radio stunt and Burfict ran his big fat gangsta mouth.

Nonsense, you were fine. You didn't express anything we all weren't feeling, BFT. There's a reason none of our wives watch Steelers games with us after all.

No I think I lost feeling in them tonight. LOL! Hearing Pac Man saying "Jerry Porter" has definitely made me feel a little more like myself though. HA!

I am EXTREEEEMELY competitive by nature and I guess that just spills over in to my fandom. It's just unbelievable that you can get so caught up in a game that really has absolutely no effect on my life in the grand scheme of things. The psychology of sports and sports fans is really fascinating.
