Williams ruled out

This is my thoughts exactly.Don't dance,Don't wait,stop all that being patient crap and just take the fight to them .. I hope he makes his OL mad early in this game by hitting them in the back wide open, this will set the tone.. Wip your man and drive him out or turn him or something because I won't be back here dancing waiting on you to block .... I am hitting the hole and if there isn't one I am going to make one type of mentality...

 

If the Bengals play the way I think they might we will have to run or use the quick passing game as the run ...I hope we are prepared to do both and we stick with the one that is working the best...

 

Given the weather I think they will have to have more of a run game in this one and that means the RB's will have to do more then just stay out of Ben's way. I think the key to this game is going to be the O Line. If we can push the Bengals around and open some holes for a good 4 or 5 yard run average we are going to eat up clock and win the game IMO.

 

I don't understand- could it be more than a sprained ankle? I have another question but it comes with a small story.

When I was about 16, I wanted to go stay at my friends place & for whatever reason, my Mom wouldn't let me. So, I decided that I was going to sneak out. I could have gone past my sleeping Mom & a very loud door that stuck most of the time. I couldn't do that. My only other option? The 20 foot drop from the porch roof. It had a gutter, so I couldn't hand off of it & fall. I just stepped off the roof & when I landed, my ankle gave out. I was so stubborn. I hobbled up to my friends place. The next day, I my softball team had playoffs. I played left field- so it wasn't easy. They just taped it up & I was fine. I mean, it hurt. But nothing was keeping me off that field.
I know slow pitch softball is a LOT different than a running back in the NFL. But are there different severities of a sprain?
Ben played with a high ankle sprain that time & those are much worse.

 

Now if he can only find a hole to run thru.

 

Last year all over again probably with same result. Not having a number one RB should make it easier to defend. Unless steelers can score 25-30 pts I say it's a loss.

It was a bit different with Tate. He didn't know the blitz pick-ups and much of the playbook so the offense had to be scaled back.

If I wanted anyone to play in the playoffs for this team, it would be Williams. I'm sure that's one of the reasons he came here and he's been a huge pick up. I'm sure he's giving great advice to Touissaint and Todman.
