All good points except for # 3 - he plays every week, so it's just BAU

    5) scares me the most just because we seem to be a team that gives up a lot of firsts.

The rain I don't necessarily see as a big issue as long as it's not pouring. Seeing as how we are going to have to throw the ball to win . I think we have a advantage with Brown and Wheaton being smaller quick guys, who will know where they are going. As long as we protect the ball after the catch we will be fine.
The ben-gals on the other hand might look to rely on their running game more rather than risk AJ making mistakes with the football, which plays right into our hands because of our porous secondary. I could see them playing more of a ball control offense which means our O needs to be efficient with our opportunities.

Watch out for the check downs to Gio Bernard. With the focus on Green, Eifert and pressuring the pocket, I am concerned that our guys will lose track of Bernard a few times for big gainers on 3rd down.

I'm a tad bit concerned about this game but hopefully we have learned a lesson from playing Osweiler and mallet over the last several weeks and we have already faced Mccarron and there's more game film on him

Key to this game is we must score 1st if we do that all the doubt will set in to the fans and the players

Personally, I'm REALLY worried about not having DeAngelo.
It's not only because we'll miss what DeAngelo can do for us, or because of what happened last year. It's not even because I think Toussaint will suck, even though he may. I'm mostly worried that's he'll be used in the wrong way. In the 3 quarters Toussaint was out there on Sunday, he had 0 receiving yards. He did catch the goofy 2 point conversion. I waited all game to see how he'd do catching & running & it didn't happen. Ben will need to check down to him- especially if we want to avoid interceptions. I just really, really, REALLY, REALLY hope DeAngelo can play. Really.

You can take and have all the reasons to worry, but I'm not worried about the final outcome of Sat nights game vs the Bengals. Steelers will win!!! I'm sure the Steelers will force me to the hard stuff before its all said and done...but when it comes down to it..Steelers will be playing in Denver the following week!!!

You know what guys and gals (can't forget our Steelers ladies here) I've worried all season. It's what I do I guess. But seeing that between injuries and bad play to bad teams we could have not been in the playoffs, my worrying is done. If we win great! I'll certainly celebrate a playoff win. But if we lose, I'll be pissed for a short time but then I'll just be glad that our team will have a shot next year. There are a lot of teams that can't say that. I'm usually the pessimist when it comes to the Steelers games (and everything else) but that can wait till next season!

I wont be worried about a thing watching this game, I learned a long time ago the steelers can exceed expectations in the playoffs or they will look un prepared and dig a hole for themselves, no need to worry about them, if they really want this game they will win it, if not they can turn in their equipment after the game, me worrying isnt going to change a thing, so I dont stress over something I cant control, they have to win 3 road games to make it all the way and I dont know if this team can do it anyway, so whats to worry????

I see a problem with this philosophy. Two things really. 1. Defense is not good enough to have that much time on the field. 2. Defense will tire if the TOP is low on the Steelers side of the ball

Two picks thrown last meeting. I believe like you said continue the pressure. Do not change a thing from the last game defensively.

I would turn the heat up higher and blitz even more ... Make the young QB come up big give the WR'S no space and blitz all the running lanes .....

Blitzing is good so long as he does no dump the ball off quickly.. I agree there.. I think you can actually over blitz

With Williams out, this game just went to a dead even game in my eyes. I definitely want the Steelers to win, but I think the Bengals can win every bit as much as the Steelers. I won't bet the winner of this one (too close), but I'm all over the under at 47. The under has been good to me the last 2 weeks. One more week looks like a solid bet to me.

Steelers cannot lose the turnover battle. They don't have a consistent defense to overcome turnovers.

I agree you can over blitz, but against a young QB in bad weather I would give up a big play or 2 just to get him rattled and off his game ...I don't want those blitzes to get predictable keep different guys coming from different fronts is the key to me...Empty out the gun so to speak ,leave no blitz in the playbook...

This defense has been night and day when tehy get aggressive versus conservative. When they blitz everyone from everywhere they have gotten pressure, they have forced the short pass that is stopped on third downs and most importantly turnovers. When they sit back and blitz five with the DL and OLB's coming it is predictable, blockable and ultimately beatable since it gives time for even newer QB's to read at least the three top options. Send the safeties, send the ILB's send the CB's send everyone.
