I don't feel good about beating the Bengals without Deangelo Williams

Not trying to rain on your parade or anything, but I dislike when people use fake "facts". So, in case you are not strong in math. McCarron only played in 4 games, not 7. Therefore he is averaging 225 yards which means it would take him about 18 games to throw for the 4,000 yards. Let's also remember that if you're really looking at passing yards as something important than you're missing the bigger picture since Brees and Rivers are leading the league this season.

Also, if you do not see Ben's interceptions of late as troublesome then that's another issue. AB has 110 yards and 1 TD in the 2 Bengal games this year. DeAngelo has like 200 yards and 2 TD in the same games with Bell playing 1/8 quarters. Also, I believe that in Bengal games 3/4 picks that Ben threw were going to AB. If the Steelers have no ground game I guarantee Ben will try to give AB the ball too many times and it could be terrible if they are doubling him.

I said it last game, the Steelers cannot go pass crazy on the Bengals, they have to run the ball. The bengals are probably the best team to legally cover AB (directed at Sherman) and last game I think they were even missing their best CB. This game is honestly a coin toss no matter what the "experts" say.

Also, everyone would rather have Ben over a second year rookie. He has been to 3 Super Bowls and won 2, but this game could come down to which team made the least amount of mistakes.... If Ben tries to force things like last year against the Ravens, then we are one and done because this defense is not going to stop their receivers all game.

Thank you for correcting my error. I was not embellishing or making up as you term it "fake" facts. I thought I saw from the stats page games played by McCarron was 7. I would not say the interceptions are not troublesome, but I think McCarron needs to be concerned about his interceptions since has thrown 2 this year and both were to a " terrible" Steelers secondary.

I would agree they cannot go pass crazy unless they line up 5 wide and Ben does not force anything and MB and Wheaton show up. MB needs to be tested early to see if he can be counting on to win this game. I am not concerned about Wheaton. He will do his job. If they double Brown which I agree they will that frees up Wheaton and or MB and Miller.

DW did not exactly tear it up with his running against the Browns and I do not think even if he played he would have a great game against a pretty stout run defense in Cincy. The last meeting DW has 76 yards total for the game. Mind you this was only on 23 attempts for a pedestrian 3.3 avg per carry. The Bengals will undoubtedly stack the box and make Ben throw and use his arm to win this game. I sincerely hope he has more accurate throws then we have seen as of late.

Even though this is a cliche Ben needs to take what the defense gives him. In the last game against the Browns there were a number of times when the middle of the field was wide open. Use Miller more and get the 10-15 shots to get the offense down the field. As OPs have pointed out it seems like Ben/Haley too often go for the kill in these long bomb throws. Do that against Cinci and there will be several picks. IMHO.

At the end of the day we are not sure what McCarron can do in playoffs. If he is anything like Dalton I say we got this game . lol

I actually kind of agree with Reel here. I think not having Williams would be a huge loss. We were VERY one dimensional after he got hurt. I guess that could be that the Browns have a decent D but so do the Bengals. Obviously a week of practice for the new guy will help but I really hope we have DeAngelo on the field.

Actually Browns D is atrocious. 29th in points allowed, 27th in yards. We are in big trouble.
