The comment by Richard Watts is hilarious, but the first comment by Nancy DeChance Brady and the second comment by Joseph Colapietro really pulled at my heartstrings. :(

Dont feel bad for them. If they would have knocked us out of the playoffs they would still be celebrating and burning cars in the streets. They will be smack talking come august.

I like the first one - "we are now officially pathetic."

Ummmm.... Exactly which decade did that become official? I guess they were just "unofficially" pathetic all this time. Who knew?

Far from it. Almost nobody is saying anything close to what Browns fans are saying. Honestly, I actually feel bad for most of their fans. Most of them are good people who just want to see their football team win. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see the Browns ever win, but that fan base had a team that was well on its way to becoming a contender and the owner moved the franchise away from the city. Then, they get a team back, but piss poor management prevents them from ever making any noise. For a true football fan, that would be heart breaking. Thankfully, we don't know what that feels like. We've been a winning franchise since the 70's and there's no risk of our team moving

And our team deserved those comments. We were completely unprepared against a four win team. The thing about Steeler fans is that we EXPECT greatness and, when our team plays uninspired, we as fans don't like it.

I'll give them props for being loyal, to keep spending money and watching the bull crap that they call football.

Just out of curiosity, do tickets in Cleveland cost less than other venues?

They do have the number two pick in the draft, with the right coach and GM they can get a franchise QB for starters and parlay the rest of their high picks into a future winning team, they can draft the number 1 QB pick in the draft Lynch from memphis since the titans at number 1 already have mariota, with the right staff they can rebuild and in a couple of years be competitive, but it remains to be seen if their capable of making the right moves or not......

You had to pay someone $60.00 to take Browns tickets?

My sympathy, if that's what you can call it, for the browns fans stems from the fact that I'm a Cubs fan and I know that feeling of letdown and heartbreak. However, I guess a more accurate way for me to put it is to say that I can "relate" to them. I don't feel one bit bad for the team for losing. A lot of their fans are actually jerks too. I once just simply and playfully said "Go Steelers" to a guy wearing a browns jersey and it actually made him mad and I just laughed and walked on. We occupy a special hatred in all their hearts. LOL! I even had a POLICE OFFICER that I needed help from on fraudulent tickets once make fun of me for being a Steelers fan because he was a browns fan! True story!

They've been missing on their high draft picks for decades at every position. The players must be jinxed as soon as they come to town for that to happen so often. Any player that anticipates going to the organization would be better off faking a potential career ending injury and then have their agent tell every organization just kidding right after the Browns pick.

The problem with that is that Haslam(sp) is doing it ass backwards. He is going to find a coach, then a Gm to work with him and the GM will not have a say over the 53 but rather will report directly to Haslam who will have final say on the roster. If that isn't a convoluted structure I don't know what is.

This is basically what everybody has been saying every other year, for the past 17 years. They literally suck in nearly every phase of the game.. Oline and DB was a strength for them a couple years ago, now it's a glaring weakness.. Alex Mack is gone, and Thomas may follow. They are also weak WR (with or without Gordon), Dline, LB, and of course QB.. They have a decent young back in Duke Johnson, but nobody else, and he doesn't appear to be a game changer. Gary Barnidge appears to be the only bright spot on that roster, but he's going to be 31 years old and this could have been a fluke season. Look at that roster up and down, it is absolutely terrible.

I remember years ago I felt sad for them when their team moved away. It actually brought a tear to my eye for the Browns fans as I was thinking what it would be like if it happened to us. I just kept saying "that ain`t right" over and over. Their fans HAVE been mentally abused, by their management.

Ben must know how lucky he was not being drafted by the clowns, they picked at number 8 and we picked at 11 in 04, had Ben went to the browns his career would have been ruined...
