How crazy the NFL has been this year, Steelers limping and lucking their way in, Ben playing bad, us losing to rats, defense porous and no RB... we will probably win it all lol

Anything is possible in the crazy AFC. The Pats have lost 4 of 6. Denver doesn't know who is starting at QB, and needed Manning to bail them out against the Chargers at home. Cinci is Cinci -nuff said there. Houston doesn't have enough offense to survive. Honestly, a Steelers vs Chiefs AFCCG looks like a reasonable possibility.

I personally think we can do it if we avoid stupidity (a tall order)

I watched that game, and manning didnt do anything that was as spectacular as the media made it out to be, he completed 5 of 9 passes for 69 yards no TDs and the rest of the game he just handed off to the running backs who pounded a tired defense from the thin air to get a couple of TDs, the truth is manning is no threat in the playoffs with all of the rust he has and I expect Osweiler will start and the great peyton will be the backup again, after all peyton in 10 games this season has 9 TDs and 17 picks, hardly a resume to be a threat in the playoffs....

I agree that Manning is having trouble delivering the football downfield, but the bottom line is that they scored 20 points in his first 4 possessions. Whether that is due to his play physically, mentally, or just because everyone else stepped up when he got on the field, the results are what they are. He's still a very smart QB, and if Kubiak allows him to play to his strengths, Denver could be a tough out.

Denver is in a tough spot heading into the playoffs, at least offensively. I'd like to think Manning still gives them the best chance to win, but his regular season/playoff splits have always favored the former - and he was brutal this year before the injury. He was second in the league with 17 interceptions - that's only starting 9 games. His INT% is a 5.1% vs. a 2.7% career; and he posted a 67.9% rating vs. a. 96.5% career.

By way of comparison Ben has had a bad year insofar as interceptions are concerned, and has been noticeably off the past couple of games, but he still is well ahead of Manning aside from the actual number of picks thrown (17 vs 16). Ben's INT% is a 3.4% (2.7% career), and his rating 94.5% (94.0% career).

Denver will rely on their defense to be opportunistic, as they have most of the season, and hope that Peyton finds a groove. Similarly, the Steelers will hope to hold form of their more successful parts of the season - the defense bends without breaking, and the Ben from the 2nd half of the Broncos game re-emerges.

I watch an listen to a lot of sports talk and what I heard was a lot of guys not talking about Manning's throwing ability but how he could read a defense. A lot of people even said Manning didn't come in a light it up but he came in and made the reads. This is where Manning has the edge on Asswiper. However Manning and Playoff are words that just don't go together.....lol!

Correct. Manning brings the mental part of the game that is lacking from Brocks, he can audible into the correct plays, Brock cant do that.

The most shocking event is that the Redskins are in the playoffs!

Even their most die-hard fans didn't see that one coming.

Everyone's favorite forehead will choke it up in the playoffs again. If Ben plays lights out there is NO team that can stop the Steelers. Again, it ALL rides on the play of Ben...

I'm going to have to know if we're talking Peyton's forehead or Brock's before I agree on this.
