I think the Pats have turned over that stone time and time again. I think they have to really dig deep on the PS squads of teams to find some depth right now.

I don't have a problem with Touissaint or Todman. Sour grapes from last year maybe, but I'd rather go with someone who's been on the team for awhile.

 

We did last season with Tate two games after the regular season ended.

Todman can fly. Not sure about pass blocking though.

 

Not sure either are the answer but at least to me Todman looks a lot more explosive and could do damage in space. Somehow Toussaint jumped him on game day,maybe cause of pass protection? ,but we need a RB not a blocker if that's the case use WJ to block. We need a threat in the running game. Toussaint looks very pedestrian. Best case is D Will is ok,why else would he return to the field?

For players with contracts for this season, free agency begins in March (I guess), so we can only sign free agents who are not on a team's roster by W17.

 

Man, not one AFC team is playing at full strength. Steelers, KC, NE and Hou have lost their starting RB(s) and Den and Cinn their QB.

 

Not impressed at all with Touissaint. I'll give him credit for a nice catch on the 2 point conversion though.

In defense to touissant, Williams wasn't exactly tearing it up before he exited today. There isn't much out there guys, patriots have Steven Jackson starting. Lots of downed running backs this year.

 

I say bring back Dri Archer.At least he might be a threat catching the ball on 3rd Downs?I think Todman can handle most of the Duties.

Agree 100%. All I can remember from last years playoff games was the dump off to Tate that ended up as an INT because he didn't catch it. Still have nightmares about it LOL. Stick with the guys that are on the team and take your chances.

I think we're gonna roll with who we have because of their time/experience on the roster. Toussaint,Todman and Will J. I prefer Todman because of his speed but I know the coaches don't.

 

You beat me to it. If anything, I think they consider re-signing Pead to serve behind Touissant/Todman. There's just nothing else there. I always thought Richardson would prove a more serviceable back than he did (not enough to justify where he was taken, mind you), but he never did.

 

Well to be correct, he was supposed to block then get to the flat and catch the ball. He did neither and it was a Grape Ape TD.....
