Something tells me, by 4pm, today...

a) We'll either see a board full of "Fire Tomlin" and "Time to draft Ben's replacement" threads.

or...

b) We'll be talking about redemption game next week.

Hopefully, option A will wait (at least one more week)!

I think the overwhelming story of this season will be what could have been even if there is some playoff success the potential that is there is still the compelling story. Sure the overcoming adversity is intriguing but look at what could have been if Bell isn't suspended two games, Bryant 4 games, Ben doesn't get hurt, Bell doesn't get hurt. Tomlin doesn't push for his friend Vick to be signed, they do this or that. I mean the potential that was there is really something to think about. either way I have a DIY basement remodel to start and work on so win or lose I have something to keep me busy.

I think even if we make it into the play offs, the fire Tomlin threads will still be around. Given that we should have wrapped things up last week, making the play offs now will be a luck thing, by and large - so I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting a deeper play off run before letting the team off the hook for Baltimore.

 

I am going with " C" TTF shuts the board down while everyone calms down and takes a chill day. hehe

I don't want to fire Tomlin win or loose. He is a good coach that makes one or two extremely stupid calls each game. Weather it's have Vick throw the ball on 4th and one or crappy clock management in the 4th. We need a win but I still wouldn't fire him with a loss, although I might flog him.

 

I don't have to wait until 4pm. There is something wrong with this team.
1) We constantly get out coached
2) This team play down to their weak competition
3)They're inconsistent in their play/performance week in and week out
4) I eat my words every now and then but I'm also able to say "see, I told you so...just as often
I don't know who this team is anymore

I really don't get the dislike for Tomlin around here. We just made the playoffs in spite of all the injuries and suspensions, bad secondary, tough schedule........ Granted, Tomlin's not Bill Walsh but, C'mon Man!!!!!!!
