Nine months before the Steelers play another meaningful game

I hope each and every player on the Steelers wakes up tomorrow and realizes this if they don't beat the Browns tomorrow
Nothing we can do about the bills and jets but let the chips fall where they may

 

I believe the Steelers will handle their business against the Browns. I think what happens up in Buffalo with the Jets is more important. The Steelers at this point just have to hope for the best in that game. Nobody in the AFC I can guarantee will be rooting for the Steelers to get in tomorrow.

 

Every AFC team in the playoffs would be rooting for the Steelers to get in IF the team that showed up against the Rats last week is the team they'd be facing.

 

Sadly, We'll beat the Browns and then a long off season will ensue.

We haven't beaten a good team outside of the division on the road in years... No team fears us. This isn't 2008 or 2010.

 

I had the full plan to sit back and watch this game in HD live while chatting with you fellas and having all the gear possible around me to increase the chances. Sadly I've been called in due to someone not being available to work and not making sure it was covered. Now I'll be watching while handing out keys in glorious non-HD on a crappy TV and not able to wear my stuff!

 

The irony is if The bills don't win it will be two years in row that the Ravens knocked us out of the Playoffs

Aside from Tom Brady here are the other AFC qbs if the Steelers don't get in. Brock Osweiler, AJ McCaron or a rusty Dalton,Brian Hoyer,Alex Smith,and Ryan Futzpatrick. None of them have any playoff experience aside from Alex Smith. So yea I would say other teams especially the Patriots would much rather see these other teams as opposed to seeing Ben Roethlisberger in the playoffs.

 

Wasn't it that time Glen Edwards had the pick six in overtime to win it for the Steelers?

 

Sounds like Dalton is done for the season listening to the NFL Network this morning. So if we get in next week looks like we will be facing McCarron in the playoffs.

 

If you dont think Brady wants to put up astronomical numbers against the pansey group we call a defense, then you need to take off the black and gold glasses. He could set records the likes of which will never be seen again in pro sports.

 

I would love to make the playoffs, but I think even Houston beats us. Our defense can't stop anyone lol. Bagels will smother mallet

 

I heard Tomlin was saying The standard is the standard again this morning apparently the standard is to lose to inferior teams not make the playoffs for six years I heard the Browns are starting a 4th string quarterback I bet our defense can make him look like Joe Montana i'm going to go out and enjoy a few Frosty's and watch the last steeler game of the year

The steelers dont deserve to be in the playoffs, I certainly dont want to see them in the playoffs just to embarass themselves more than they already have....
