Yep, they deserve to just watch TV after week 16 and see good teams in the playoffs. Sorry but that's reality. You can dream but where does that get you?

 

I feel somewhat to blame for this. I just got an incredible deal on 5 vintage Ninja Turtle figures today and I guess I used up all my luck. Sigh....If only I'd waited... I guess you really can't have it all.

 

And Tv off... this is that time of year again for the past 5 years that I don't watch any NFL network or ESPN until draft time

Jets lose next weekend at Buffalo, and the Steelers win at Cleveland...we're in. But watch, next week Tomlin and his horrible Zone-D will allow Johnny Football to go for 400 yards and 4 TD's.

That's what I was getting at with my post too.

 

Opening line is Jets 1.5 point favorites over the Bills. The game is in Buffalo so that game could go either way.
The lights are just dim they haven't been turned out yet. I would expect the Steelers to play with a chip on their shoulder
after that pathetic performance today.

Why didn't you at least go back to church at halftime? Seemed to work last time.

 

That was during a late game. Today was early. When I got back tonight we always let the kids sing a little song at the start of every service and one of the little boys at church was really unhappy about something but he came up to sing anyway and my pastor was laughing and telling me "He looks like he's not happy" and I said "Yeah he must be a Steelers fan". LOL!

 

I would have expected them to "with a chip on their shoulder" today knowing their playoff position depended on, they were beaten by the Ravens at home earlier this year and the Ravens knocked them out of the playoffs last year.

True. One more chance but they now need help from Buffalo. Even if Buffalo doesn't help by beating the Jets I would hope the Steelers have enough pride to play a strong game to finish the season. Maybe Ben can play a little closer to normal. I was hoping the defense was starting to jell a little after the 2nd half against Denver, but apparently not so.

 

Here's the only chip the Steeler's will be playing with next week...................

 

Were was the urgency? This was a lackadaisical performance by many. They had to
know that the Ravens would not let down. The Ravens wanted it more than the Steelers, thats sad.
