I'd be shocked if less than 75% of NFL players weren't using some sort of banned supplement tbh... I've always assumed this. Have you ever been to training camp or somewhere and seen these guys up close? C'mon now...

Honestly, they should set some guidelines and allow athletes to use HGH. If used correctly, it can be beneficial to the overall health and recovery of these guys. HGH doesn't have the same side-effects as anabolic steroids. I'm no expert by any means, but I've read enough to know HGH can be beneficial in recovery and overall health. It's extremely expensive, that's why it's never really used by the general public.

Wow, that's so Cold War espionage-like. Shipping Manning's illegal drugs to his WIFE of nearly 15 years, with "MANNING" and HIS ADDRESS on the package. No one's gonna crack that code.

Every time I see JH, I'm always floored at how huge he is. And a part of me wonders how that could possibly happen without PEDs, despite his incredible work ethic. And Villanueva going from 250 to 340 in just one year (AUG2014-AUG2015)? Ummm ...

It sounds like it was shipped to different addresses, although the wording isn't really clear. Still though, you'd think Manning could find someone without his last name to receive the packages. Then again, maybe he didn't trust anyone else to receive something so sensitive. I really don't know.

“All the time we would be sending Ashley Manning drugs,” Sly says in the video. “Like growth hormone, all the time, everywhere, Florida. And it would never be under Peyton’s name, it would always be under her name.”

Not that I'm naïve enough to believe that these guys don't all take HgH at some point or another, regardless of the reason - this is more of a "his word against theirs" type of deal. Unless they have some sort of chain of custody and clear written detail of what was in these alleged packages, for all that matters it might as well have been Christmas cookies.

It's obvious Peyton is on HGH. I mean look at his forehead.

I'm just poking fun. I suspect it'll turn out to have been for some issue of Ashley's.

And I think a guy like Manning is smart enough to figure out a better scheme than what Sly described (and then recanted).

HGH testing didn't start until 2014 so I'm guessing lots of players were using it. For what it's worth, the person who supposedly made the allegations is 'recanting' them.

Definitely wouldn't surprise me. In sports its all about getting that edge. He wouldn't be the only one...

Most nfl players look to be on anabolics. Ripped and massive. Natural bodybuilders spend years training and eating right and aren't as big as all the nfl players. Villanueva jumping that weight in a year is a red flag

I am surprised more NFLers aren't caught.

I would assume a lot of players use steroid like substances for recovery after injuries.

Peyton has had neck surgeries for example.

The NFL should crack down on PEDs ( especially when they care so much about player safety). Getting concussed by a roided out LB who will be dead from heart failure in 20 years isn't good for anybody.

Could that be y Peyton has gone from world beater to can't throw 100 yards a game?

It's more likely that it's because he is nearing 1000 years old. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if it's all true. As said above, you just don't get to and maintain the size of a lot of the NFL athletes without some type of "assistance." AV gaining 100 lbs in a year is laughable. You'd be hard pressed to gain 100 pounds in a year if you did nothing but sit on your ass eating McDonalds 5 times a day, let alone gain 100 pounds of useful size.

I've always assumed that the majority of NFL players use HGH in some fashion. If it wasn't an issue, why was there so much foot-dragging to start testing for it?

I'm not that worried about it, this could be Harrison's last season he could avoid any punishment then.

And the story was broken by Al Jazeera??? And who was the reporter "Chemical Ali?? Guess who sold his TV network to Al Jazeera America? I smell a vast left wing conspiracy. Not an ounce of football news here.

From Al Jazeera? The same people that say Bin Laden's alive and hiding out with Elvis.

Anyhow, the accuser has recanted and they're saying he fabricated it, (now get this), for money.

If so, he needs to hook up JJ before he goes.
