I believe we witness tonight on how to beat the Patsies!! we need to play more press coverage defense!! This playing off the receivers has been killing us it was like night and day once as we started pressing.

Why are we worried about the Patriots right now? Easier said than done playing press coverage on Gronk, the Steelers need to worry about making the playoffs first.

Pressure up the middle in Brady's face, He can't stand that and so few teams can
    do it.

That's a good question. Even if we make the playoffs there's no guarantee we play the Patriots.

Right. If we make the playoffs, we'll need to beat someone in the wild card round before there's even a chance of seeing the Pats.

Whatever it is, don't say it yet and keep it a secret from the Jets...

Y'all act like changing one scheme will be enough to shut down pats. They own us and they cheat

Basically what we did week 1, except don't leave Gronk wide open.

You gotta keep Brady and gronk on the pine !
Nice long drives ,use offense as defense ..They always defer too,so make it top priority to get points the 1st drive .
Hit the statue too,and definitely bump the WR's at the line and double team Gronk ,always.

Yes that is probably the formula , but Brady will shift and motion and get better match ups . Plus they have Gronk which we have no one to even attempt to cover him ..The only real formula is to out score them . We should be spending all our practice time on Offense ..If we refuse to switch some offensive players on to this D we simply don't have the talent to do very much at all ......

What we witness tonight was because we are so bad in the secondary on tackling that we can't play off the receivers 10 to 12 yards deep and then come up to tackle because we are not good at TACKLING. This is especially true when you play rookie quarterbacks as you are just giving them an open target to throw to. The worst thing for a rookie QB is trying to throw into tight man to man coverage. This is why so many young QB give our secondary fits. Like Mansel, Carr, Cincys second string QB, and the Bronco QB in the first half.

As soon as we removed Blake and went into a tighter coverage and no cushion, that made it so much harder for the rookies to throw into. This is not a complicated thing and if we open up in Baltimore and Cleveland doing the same thing with Blake starting and soft coverage against rookie QB, than shame on the coaching staff.
