Says that he is good at making Qb's better, Tannehill, they feel is a franchise QB?
I am not sure he will jump at another HC position right now? How about you?

There will be a handful of openings this year, and Haley will almost certainly be on some teams' radar. We would miss Haley, but I think we would miss Munch even more.

I don't think any of our coaches will be moving on. Although our secondary could be replaced easily. I'm just saying

A lot of chiefs on this coaching squad, not many indians. Would not suprise me when this coaching staff starts getting poached, just like Cowher's.

any coach on the staff will have to weigh the position they are in with the hot seat they are getting into. I know many think that every coach aspires to be a head coach and maybe they do, and maybe money makes the world go round but you would need Bill Gates money to make me want to jump into some of these coaching jobs. The constant change over, the need to hit the playoffs in the first year, instant success. These are unrealistic goals and should enter into a coaching position but they do. If Haley wants to fail again by all means jump ship but I don't think he wants to do that again.

I recall Haley's name being tossed around back in October when they canned Philbin.

I imagine he can land a head coaching position this off-season if he wants to leave.

Yeah Thorn but remember, any coach would want to be on the top of the food chain. Head coach is not only the coach with dirt on his knees. He is also the hammer. Wanting to make their mark. Most coaches live to try and be a head coach. Haley makes Ben better and I hope he stays but if he gets picked, he will be on the 1st thing smoking out of Pittsburgh. Maybe he will screw up the interviews

Having already worked for an unstable owner, I don't believe Miami is the job Haley would leave for. I think a more attractive opening would have to present itself.

The people talking about Haley aren't owners so the talk means nothing more than the talk on this post.

Haley has the ego to want to be a head coach and there is a giant difference in money. If offered a position it would be highly unlikely he would turn it down unless it was because of bad ownership.

One thing on this, Haley loves Florida, and no state income tax helps. He was a one time a golf coach at UNF. I wouldn't be surprised if he was offered the job that he takes it. I do liked what he has done with Ben.

I bet Sean Peyton goes to the Dolphins I could see that happening.
It looks like him and the saints might part ways.

Giants and Saints could swap head coaches.

I think this could be likely but with Peyton going to the Giants and Coughlin retiring.

New Orleans??? I had heard earlier in the year that Payton was top of the Fins list. I also heard Whiz was too and honestly he's a good coach for a qb but I really think the Chargers might be calling him. My buddy that's a Chargers fan is dying to get Whiz. For the record, I'm sure it will come as no surprise that I would be devastated to lose my hero Todd Haley.

:lolol: I don't think you have to worry about it. I think he likes coaching here and wants to help bring another SB to Pittsburgh.

He may be a HC again someday, but not for a couple more years at least. A really really good gig would have to be available i think to lure him away. Something like the Giants.

I really hope you're right but I hope he doesn't go to the gnats because they're sorta my arch nemesis.
