I like the chemistry in our O-line now. It would be a little risky to toss Pouncey back in considering how well wallace has played in his absence.

Risky for Pouncey, if he's not fully healed, perhaps. For the quality of the line play? That is no risk. You sub Pouncey for Wallace and both the chemistry and the individual performances improve. Foster and DeCastro know Pouncey well, and the playbook opens up more when Pouncey plays. We'll have better run blocking, better pass blocking, fewer penalties, more plays to choose from, and better chemistry. If he's healthy, there is no question what to do.

All things considered Wallace really isn't playing that well. I'm pretty sure he leads the Oline in sacks allowed and penalties. He played better this weekend, but the idea of us being better or the same with Wallace over Pouncey is laughable.

Maybe so, but Wallace will always be a Steeler legend after the on-field prostate exam. Ranks right up there with the Colon molestation of Burfict. :roflmao:

It would have been great for Colon to be back with the Steelers for one game just so he could do it again to Burfict.

This would be the determining factor for me. Wallace has been battling all year and Pouncey hasn't.

I think Wallace struggled in the first few games, but I think he is playing well. He is good enough to win.

I say if Pouncey is healthy he'd better be playing.

1000 times this. I dont want to be good enough, I want to be the best. Pouncey is so much better than Wallace.

I'm glad we have Wallace, hes a quality backup but I want Pouncey back as soon as he is able.

wasn't it the Green Bay Super Bowl people were expecting Pouncey back and he did not play. I don't get the entire roster thing but aren't they keeping a roster spot for him by not putting him on the I/R?

Then it becomes academic at this point. Even if he is more talented than Wallace he needs the rust knocked off and that may not over rule the importance of team chemistry on a playoff run.
