They probably won't re-sign AB this offseason, they can wait another year to do that. They need to sign DeCastro long-term and spend some money in free agency, the salary cap is expected to go up by 10 million. I want Jacoby Jones gone the cost is minimal get rid of that bum before he cost us a game, let Wheaton return KO and AB on PR.

Just Tweeted by Bob Labriola - Consequences for fumbling. On new @Steelers depth chart, Wheaton is No.1 KOR, and AB back as No.1 PR.

Why in the world will they not let Todman return the kicks ...He has showed he can do it..The tape shows he is a lot better than Wheaton..I don't understand why they got him if their not going to use him...

I'm not understanding why he isn't going to be cut , I can't believe his dead money/cap hit would be that bad.

I feel that perhaps Tomlin doesn't like the Todd, too many awkward high fives.

I thought so too but then noticed that Todman was not active last game. If that's the plan for the rest of the season they probably want to use someone who will be active on gameday. They could always deactivate Jacoby, but being that he hasn't been cut yet, I don't think that'll happen. They probably want him for depth at WR, for whatever reason. With personnel moves anything is possible the way this team has managed the roster the past few seasons.

I think they will cut Jones later today ...No reason to keep Jacoby for depth as we have 2 WR'S at the least that are better than him and they don't even get any work ....No need to keep him for depth at all...The only reason he would ever see a true role as a WR is if 4 starters went down for extended time,,,if that happened what would be the point anyway ?

Can somebody please explain to me why the hell Jones was not cut?? It's not like we need him as a WR. He is completely useless.

Because Tomlin doesn't want to be seen with egg on his face. Jones should have been cut before the start of the 3rd qtr Sunday Night.

Geez, 3rd string KR??? Really??? What do you have to do to get cut from this team anyway? F-in just cut the man.... longer you keep him the more you have to pay him..... hell, just pay him to leave... he is that bad.

I agree with everyone calling for him to be cut. I just don't get it not only is he useless he's actually a detriment to the team. I can't believe we can't find a better way to use a roster spot,it's crazy.

Maybe he physically can't return anymore but "could" teach some of the guys.
He has been "there" before, he knows what it's like to go the distance.
I don't know why he wouldn't be cut.

I agree. It was a "you're done for the day" pat.

Given how much he was screaming at Danny Smith moments beforehand, I very much doubt he was giving too many words on encouragement,

We already have that guy who can teach how it's done...AB.

I keep checking the transactions list hoping to see Jones name on it but no luck so far.

We do have a practice squad opening since the Packers signed a player from us.

Kick Returning is more of a knack + talent. The basic principles is taught by the coach, the rest is on the player. Jones brings nothing to the table in regards to teaching.

Maybe #13 is cursed? Maybe the Steelers feel that they need to keep the jersey occupied so it won't jinx them? That's all I got.

Here's something interesting. Before those two, as far as I can tell only fiveother guys have worn that number for the Steelers.

    Jeremy Kapinos (2010-11)
    Bill Mackrides (1954),
    Lee Mulleneaux (1936)
    __ Redding (1935),
    __ Harbes (1935)

    AND THEY ALL DIED MYSTERIOUSLY.

    (Maybe)

Nobody wants to be 13 in Pittsburgh.

    true

Kapinos went missing in the Med sea after a boating accident
Mackrides got run over by a semi
Lee shat himself to death eating high fiber cereal
Redding got hit by a train
    and
Harbes suffered quite a few barbs in a fishing expedition pretty much suffered a HELLRAISER death

    all true
