    Steelers promote Fitzgerald Toussaint to active roster and Released Pead did I miss something?

    I don't think Pead is very good at blitz pick up ...IMO this is why he was let go...

    What?! Just yesterday, he and todman was interview,and they both were very anxious to backup and give a breather to "uncle snoop Dogg" Williams. Peas was the out spoken one.D. Williams said that they got extra reps and were ready. Can a guy that you just signed today...be a better blocker?! Cmon man!

    I read one comment on the release...that was saying , since the ratbirds had loss forsett for the season that they may have wanted to snatch him back from p.s...now that make better sense in a counter move. But, still doesn't justify anything

    What guy did we just sign today ? If your talking about Toussaint then he came from the Steelers practice squad , the Team probably knows a lot about him...It makes perfect sense that Pead was getting more reps and getting ready to bu Williams and when a Team went after Toussaint the Coaches had to look at the practice tape and decide who they wanted to invest in for the future...

    Paed used to be mega-fast and even broke Archie Griffin's high school records but it seems the ACL tear he suffered in 2014 has taken that away.

    This all just caught me by surprise I guess I just wasn't paying attention to Pead or there being an issue with him.

    He was injured since we signed him. Probably, he never recovered of it and was only an insurance while our staff really saw what they had on the other backups and PS.

    I think they did know that and was planning on trying to teach him how ....Williams showed he is a shell of a RB when playing hurt . This forced the teams hand . Then when the Ravens wanted to steal a future RB this forced the Teams hand ....IMO this is the point where the Team had to put all 3 RB'S up on the board ...Pead lost out because he can't be a every down RB like the Steelers want,and the Steelers lost the time they thought they had to carve out a role for him...
