    9 games
    28 receptions
    318 yards
    1 td

At that pace he'll finish the season with:

    50 receptions
    565 yards
    2 tds

    :poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy::poopy:

That's not just representative of his performance, but also what he stepped on when he hopped the fence in search of greener grass. Him missing Ben is hardly new news, but who thought he'd miss Ryan Tannehill this much?

Oh and to state the obvious, there's no way in hell the Vikings are paying him $11.45 million next season, so he's looking at a massive paycut. Odds are that he'll end up earning roughly the same as if he'd signed the Steelers offer.

Classic case of a guy who had too much success too soon and let it go to his head in every way imaginable.

Color me at least a little surprised that Wallace hasn't done much in Norseland.

So right about the time when we lose Bryant because we can't afford his mega-million contract, we can bring old Mikey back with his tail tucked between his legs for a cheap farewell reunion tour with his old chums in the B&G! Isn't that how it all works?

Ugh, the thought of losing Bryant is not something I want to think about, but we may have to brace for it.

I predicted when Wallace left that he'd already had his two biggest statistical seasons ever and so far that's holding true. I thought he may develop some chemistry with Bridgewater, who throws a nice deep ball, but so far that hasn't been the case.

You know, if he came really cheap I would be willing to look at bringing him back if Wheaton ends up walking this offseason. His speed is something, assuming he still has it, that would allow us to continue to open things up deep, giving space for Heath and Brown to work in space.

    Plaxico, Ward, Holmes,Wallace, Brown.

One constant. They were all at their best when #7 was throwing the ball.

Wallace could run go routes well, be he struggled in other areas.

Thank god he turned down the 5 year 50 milllion deal or maybe Brown wouldn't be a Steeler today.

Yeah, and if he's lost a step he's now a zero trick pony.

Can you imagine that?! How terrible would it be to have Mikey still here whining about how he's not involved enough in the offense and how he loses interest when Bryant and Heath are being thrown the ball while AB is torching defenses as a member of the Rats or Pats?! Kevin Colbert better thank his lucky stars that MW turned down that offer and that he quickly turned to AB as his "second" option. We'd all be calling for his head right now! Just goes to show you there is a fine line between genius and idiocy!

It's hilarious because he would have made more money in the long run and been more relevant just taking the Steelers offer. When will they learn? Can never turn down the one time huge paycheck and look at the big picture. Got traded from sunny Miami to cold ass Minny which is colder then Pittsburgh which he always bitched about for a bag of footballs. Sanders will be Wallace status once noodle arm retires this year as well. I hope somebody sits Brown down and shows him this. The WR track record after they leave the Burgh.

The leading WR on the Vikings only has 30 catches. Norv Turner is running a conservative offense with Bridgewater where AP gets a lot of carries and the TE's and FB's get their share of catches.

This is a valid point; Minnesota's offense is hardy dynamic at this point.

What bothered me about Wallace were the reports of his clubhouse demeanor. That he overvalued his early success at the cost of an extended contract with his draft team, only to find he lacked the overall game to succeed in a different system is hardly new.

Why are Steeler fans so concerned with Mike Wallace? He's on his second team since he left the Steelers good riddance, he won't put up big stats in Minnesota because they have Adrian Peterson and some other good young WRs.

He doesn't have the mindset or work ethic much less willingness to succeed ANYWHERE! Glad he's gone and wouldn't take him back at all.

What did he do in Miami, I'll wait...

He won't put up numbers anywhere because he's done. It probably has something to do with when every team in the league passes on you 3 times and then the Steelers give you your only chance and make you great. Your first instinct is to leave for the big payday. Recently it's just been those two stupid NO boys though. Keenan Lewis career has been great since he left LOL It also doesn't help Wallace is begging to comeback in the off-season. Also, doesn't help Steelers organization made the right decision and Wallace has done nothing on two teams and got traded for a bag of footballs.

It's funny like 5 games into being with the Dolphins he stripped everything off his Twitter and still remains that way. Always retweeting Steelers. People don't realize how great the Steelers organization is until they leave. Well enjoy your one payday Wallace and early retirement!

He and Lewis had a self proclaimed view of themselves and caused the both of their careers to decline. I know some of you will say k.lewis had some success but not like if he had stayed with pittsburgh

Mike Wallace=Alvin Harper for those of you old enough to remember the Dallas Cowboys of the 1990's Harper was the #2 WR to Michael Irvin he was also a one trick pony a great deep threat. He left the Cowboys for free agency and never did anything else in the league.

Yeah he was the only cowgirl I even had human respect for on that whole team. LOL. Was he maybe the first guy ever to do the dunk over the goalpost for his td celebration? Also Wallace has played like hot garbage today as well. I notice he's wearing long sleeves too. I hope he's enjoying the weather up there...

couldn't catch a pass late in the game today that would have helped his team
    looked pretty easy to me

Yep, always thought Tampa was nuts for that signing as well. No WR was doing much Dilfer at QB, and back then he was only in his first or second year, and looked atrocious.

Wallace was a low effort non Team all about me guy .... He had 2 or 3 games in a row while he was here I think he could have made plays on the ball and made no effort .... I caught hell on that one that was no higher than 2 foot over the cross bar and Wallace made zero effort ...No one will ever convince me he couldn't have caught that ball ...We will never know because he never tried......That sums his career up right there and why I hope he never comes back to this Team....
