    Hello fellow steelers fans!

    I've enjoyed watching NFL for a good while now but never really had a team to call my own, so me and a few work colleagues a few weeks back drew our teams out of a hat and I pulled out the steelers obviously that's why I'm here And I've gotta say I feel pretty lucky I did seems we have a team with lots of history and tradition, awesome stadium and by the looks of it best fans in the whole league and 6 Super Bowls to go with it! So I just want to learn more, who are our cult heroes? Who are our real rival teams? ( already guess we all hate the Ravens! ) but what else do I need to know!

    Welcome. I've only been to Pittsburgh once but, have followed the team since '72. Heroes? Well, there's Mean Joe of course, Franco, Lambert, Rocky, Bus, Ben, Troy............etc. etc.
    Rivals? The Browns (both old and new) and for me, even though they're not rivals, The San Diego Chargers. Hate them more than any other team in any other sport!
    Glad you picked the Steelers and I'm sure you will be too!

    Better off looking for Steeler videos, I'd recommend nflfilms.com and special order their SB years from the 70's. Bit pricey but NFL Films is responsible for shaping many football fan minds.

    You couldn't have chose a better team!
