Took me a minute to remember I had employed the ignore feature.. was having trouble figuring out who you were quibbling with.

 

So we have three hurt QBs.

Would there not be at least some logic in getting a fourth in at this point? Or would it be too late for them to get enough reps to be effective if needed?

If Vick has to play one more snap this season if Ben goes down again for good the Steelers won't win a single game the rest of the way. Michael Vick is beyond horrific and the Steelers should release him the minute this season ends. I'm praying to god we don't have to see him play again this season.

 

We're going to need help. Tebow still available?

I'm not worried about Vick because of a lack of skills or because of his character.
I'm concerned because he's lost the fight in him. It's over.

 

I was wondering what actually happened to Landry. All I can say is that we REALLY need to hope that Landry gets well soon because I think we've seen the best that Vick has to offer and good grief with out Le'Veon on the field I don't even want to IMAGINE how bad we'd look. I'm honestly throwing up in my mouth a little right now.

It's ludicrous that the back up QB position has even gotten to this point all the while Charlie Batch has been just a phone call away. Another terrible personnel decision thinking that Vick could offer anything more than our already proven back up had shown.

Tomlin has stated over and over that he often makes decisions by his gut feelings. With the Vick as back up and Dri Archer being replaced by Jones decisions I think Pepto Bismol should hire him for making upset stomach commercials.

 

Charlie Batch? Isn't he 78 years old?

 

Nope. He's 40 and is 50 times better than Vick could ever be at this stage of his terrible career.

 

I agree that he's better than Vick but, do you really want a 40 year old backup? Surely there's a better option out there. (stop calling me Shirley...)

 

Considering that he has backed up Ben for several years and knows the playbook inside and out then yes I do think he would be serviceable as back up. Much more so than Vick could ever be.

 

Batch has a pretty good gig going for him now. I doubt he would want to re-enter the fray at 40.

Batch WAS a great backup. We should not be looking his direction though.

 

Yeah, and the team wont have to pay for any of Charlies injuries since he has Medicare...

 

Too bad his football skills won't recover as quickly!
