So you put the guy you just picked up Wednesday back there to catch a ball when you have Brown, who has done it all season and is a pro-bowler? Whatever. They put him in there 1. to make sure the catch was made (which it wasn't) and 2. to possibly get a good return. but the main concern was to secure the ball. Why is that so hard to understand?

 

A little dink and dunk and some runs to burn the clock...

Don't make the mistake of lumping a second guess of mine into the plethora of others you may have heard or read. I'm far from a guy that calls out every errant choice and throws it at Tomlin's feet.

I stand by my statement; if Brown is such a great returner that you want to put the ball in his hands, why have Jones take over for him at all? And spare me the 'injury' reasoning, he's been doing it almost his entire career and has never been hurt. And Jones has made returning his calling card. So tell me again why it makes sense putting AB in there at that point.
