Return of the No Fun League: Dump the gadget plays

Dear Todd Haley and Mike Tomlin,

please consider it as an early Christmas gift to the loyal members of Steeler Nation, we don't sk much no need to win the division, just please please shelve the gadget plays at least until you have a double digit lead and or a Superbowl Win. I know Ben loves them and I know it gives the players something to look forward to in Friday practice and has since many here were in diapers and I was watching spit bathes take place regularly by players from Coach Cowher. However please just tuck them away and stomp on some people throats then you can do a Statue of Liberty play.

To each their own...

I complained about the wr (I think it was Antonio), pass, against New England, the 1 st game this year...

When we were at full health, and were moving the ball down the field at will...


there was really no reason for that...

However, The flea flicker, against Cincy...

I didn`t mind...

We were trying to keep them from blitzing the crap outta Ben...


The holding penalty sucked, but you expect the players to execute...

It would have moved the ball down the field,

And it DID keeep them from just coming all out after Ben,,,,,

Or SOMETHING did...

Maybe the constant shotgun formation, maybe, handing the ball to Bell, right off the bat,,,

However you wanna say it... They did NOT blitz the hell out of a "mobility limited " QB...

Maybe their coaches just didn`t do what was expected..

I thought they would target Ben all day long...

They could have put a LOT more pressure on him.


Especially, after they saw him wince and hide on the sideline, after he got his knee touched, earlly in the game..


I don`t know if we had a good "game plan", or if they tried not to do what we expected,

But, Ben came thru it no worse for wear...


Shame we only put up 10 points, and 3 picks...


I got no problem with "gadget plays"....

Heath probably does...


But they keep the D honest!!!!!!
