what the hell is taking so long so many players get injured and they usually know within hours

I'm sure they do know, but the team isn't in any rush to update the rest of the world. They'll get the MRI results and have conversations with a doctor to determine exactly what they're looking at. Then when they get around to it, they'll make a public announcement on the injury.

Really looking forward to seeing something definitive saying it's MCL and not ACL

It's taking long because he was at the hospital, early reports are it's a MCL not a ACL.

If it's an MCL he should be back after The bye

Guessing it's not the ACL from what's being reported; we'll probably not see him until after the bye.

The angle looked MCL-ish. Hopefully a sprain, and not a tear.

My question is if it is the ACL and he has torn it again what does that do for his carrier? 2 torn ACL on same leg for a running back could be the end.

Jason La Confora of CBS said that Bell has a MCL tear, and the Steelers are putting him on IR. They might sign former Rams RB Isaiah Pead.

Neither Bell's injury nor those awful uniform are laughing matters but I couldn't help but chuckle when I read this over at Football Outsiders

"The Pittsburgh Pantsless Bumblebees have the singly worst uniforms in human history. I'm not so much sure Leveon Bell hurt his knee as much as his knee attempted to escape his body to get away from those godawful flesh-colored pants."
