    Wish I knew what happened there. Trend continues to drafting what looks like a promising pick only to fizzle so quickly. At least Grant is still on the PS, past picks didnt even make it to there. Hopefully he makes it to the 53.

    well 6-7 anyway troy. mccullers was seen covering the rb in the EZ last week. maybe they are trying him out. he didn't give up a catch which is a good thing i guess. LOL:lolol::cool:

    We need either a bigger stronger CB or a smarter faster CB . Our guys are to small and to slow a deadly combo for a outside CB.

    I remember seeing that with McCullers, he almost even got a PI call against him too, has he wasn't looking back for the ball.

    To be fair, McCullers could jump in the air - the solar eclipse this would result in would render QBs instantly ineffective.

    They truly do suck at evaluating DB's. No one on the PS merits calling up and Shark still isnt capable and Boykins play time remains a mystery :noose:

    I'm still puzzling over Grant. I watched whatever I could find on him last offseason, and I was sure he'd be a contributor as a rookie. There was plenty of tape where he showed well above average awareness and coverage ability for an FBS corner, and very little tape that sucked. I was under no illusion that he'd be a star, but he looked like a guy who would be able to handle playing in the NFL very early in his rookie season.

    That's the Steelers way draft a scrub CB who can't play cut him during training camp, then sign another scrub midget CB off the street for cheap who sucks when they are desperate for depth. The perfect example is Antawn Blake signed him for cheap, he has no business being a starter.

    I watched him close at training camp the night I was there, he has all the tools
    as does Boykin. I am certainly perplexed by our db's and their playing time,
    pecking order.
