I agree, but I still think we could've took the Pats with a decent kicker and a working microphone for the 1st half.

    Article:

"Given the Steelers lost to the Ravens by a field goal and the Chiefs by 10, it's not a stretch at all to think a Ben Roethlisberger-led Steeler team could be 6-1 right now..."

Big Ben + working headsets and we'd be undefeated. :rawk:

Who knows. We have always had a tendency to lose to bad teams, so we may have lost to the Rats and KC anyway. Or we may have beat both of them.

All I care about is where we finish when it's all said and done.

I'm just happy as a pig in poo that we're not 1-6 like the bottom dwellers we all know. :ratbirds: [IMG]

Most likely wouldve went 3-1 during his absence. Things still need to come together as a whole on offense.

Yeah, how sad is it that the Clowns have a better record than the Rats? Of course, you never know with the Clowns. Give 'em time. :lolol:

Funny thing about the Clowns. They had a stat I caught on one of the pregames that said McCown had thrown for 2 (or more) TDs in 4 consecutive games. That's the first Browns QB to do that since 2007. Just think about that for a minute.

I have no doubt that Ben would have feasted on ratbird if he had played in that game. I mean Vick is the worst backup in the league and he took them to the absolute brink and if not for some incredibly stupid coaching decisions even HE would have won that game. So I say we'd have at LEAST one less loss. Their defense is atrocious and I hope when we go to Baltimore that Ben absolute demoralizes them. It kills me that their only win is against us.

The crazy thing though is when they say a play here, a tackle there and they are in the thick of it, I believe them. There is no quit in that team and the fight and scratch to the end as evidenced by how they played in Pittsburgh. If there was a 1-6 team that could be a 6-1 team I think the Ravens are it. Don't get me wrong I think with Ben they could step on the Ravens neck and keep stomping but they showed no quit last night.

With Ben we would be 6-1, if we had Bell and Bryant we would have beat the Patriots also and be 7-0

6-1 and with a good kicker maybe the patriots game would have gone the other way. I'm so glad to have Ben back playing with all of his toys!

If "Ifs and buts were candy and nuts"...

    The better question is,

How much better would our Offense be prepared to take on the Bungles, IF Ben had been playing the last 4 weeks, and developing "chemistry", with his receivers?!?

Doesn`t matter... Time to "Get It On"!!!

Let`s hope Ben coming off the bench, can play like he was before he lost 4 weeks of in game experience, with his team!!!

With Big Ben? 5-2. I think we would've beat the Ravens.

With Big Ben AND a kicker?
6-1- I think we would have beat the Patriots.

We prolly still would've lost against Kansas City. With or without Ben we still suck against teams with bad records.
Although I think we do have a decent chance to beat both the Browns (whether it's in Week 10 or Week 17) and the Raiders.

Yes...we would be 6-1…...Ben would be in the running for MVP with Brady and rogers.
AB would be top receiver...streak still alive
Bell would have even more yards rushing because he would go against a stacked defense
