Cincinnati is really good! 6 of those losses are at the hands of the Bengals. They are legit, especially if Dalton plays well.

The Bungholes are good. Give them some respect. I think Pittsburgh is better (at full strength) but Cincy will likely win the division.

I'd like to see the Bengals play the Patriots. My bet is they would get destroyed!

    Where?

In NE - Nobody stands a chance.

Cincy - I think they match up well.

The Bengal have a boat load of talent whether we want to admit it or not. They are incredibly healthy except of Burfect (who is proving to be a china doll). The Steelers had better take them seriously. Better yet the Steelers simply cannot overlook the Chiefs going into the Bengals game.

As much as I hate to say it, Cincy looks pretty frieking tuff this year...

So are we, at full health, but we are NOT at full health, without Pouncey, Beachum, and Ben...

The Bungles always play us tuff, regardless,...

We could do ourselves a HUGE favor, by sweeping them...

I just can`t bring myself to believe we do it...

    Hoping? YES!!!

    Expecting? NO!!!

They ain`t the Clowns, and our best hope is they fall apart somehow, injuries, or otherwise...

Barring that, they are standing in our way of winning the division, moreso, than Baltimore, or Cleveland...

That`s just the facts, Jack... I don`t like it anymore than anyone else on this board, but, I`ve watched them play...

They are no chumps, or "paper champions"...

They are for real, and to win our division, it would help a LOT to sweep them!!!

Not gonna be easy to do....

    GO STEELERS!!!!:herewego!:

What have you've seen that I havn't about the Bengals?

They're offense is quite virtually the same as last year, maybe a little better because Dalton uncharacteristically isn't making any mistakes. When he does the losses will flow.

The best team they've played is Seattle, a team who can't seem to close any game. Steeleresc of last year.

Now let's look at the Ravens game. The Ravens are AWFULNESS, and they barely beat them with a HEALTHY team. Steelers "beat" them with Vick at the helm, no Bryant, and no preperation.

I'm sorry but the only thing they've got going for them is closing games. Other then that I still won't believe that they are anymore dangerous then a team like the Chargers.

I'm not saying we beat them because no division game works that way even if it is the Browns. I'm just saying the Bengals bandwagon is a sham.

I also prefer underrating the steelers because it's the time they shine. Take the defense for instance, we thought they would be crap but now we hoot and holler around when they make big plays that we never expected.

Do they play the cardinals this year? Patriots? I bet they lose both games.

This is kind of stacking up to look like the year we had to beat the Ravens three times in a season, only, insert Bengals this season. Remember how that season turned out?

The Bengals are perennially over hyped. They will fold when it counts like they always do.

    Hope you are right....
What chinks do you see in their armor?
Dalton looks better than ever, and they look healthier than they have been in a while...
Just because Dalton HAS folded, doesn`t mean he WILL...

Again, I hope you are right...

But They haven`t looked too weak on their way to 5-0...

2 fourth qtr comebacks, if i remember right..

Don`t expect the past to predict the future, in this case...
We NEED to beat em twice!!

    GO STEELERS!!!!:steelflag:

I see Marvin Lewis as their weak link. He has barely managed a 500 record with some of the most talent laden teams during his tenure. It didn't matter who the QB was, they always choke in the big games.

Honestly, Cincy looks the same to me as every other year. It all hinges on whether Dalton shows up in the playoffs. So far, he has not.

But since we have to meet them in the regular season first, I expect a tough matchup. I think we can take them with Ben though.

All I can say, is we beat them twice in December last year, and they were on a 3 game winning streak when we beat them Dec 7, 42-21 at their place, they won their next two games and we beat them again at our place Dec 27, 27-17 for the division title, so their wins dont seem to mean much when we play em......................

Correct, their offense is the same as last year when we beat them twice in December, and going into this season Dalton is a woeful 2-6 against the steelers, lets give him a 2-8 record...

Bengals are good that's for sure. Next time we play Ravens I want us to beat them 56-0. None of this close game ****

Well, after seeing what happened in Kansas city,

I`m glad we "should" have Ben back,

And, I HOPE our Defense plays like they did the 2 games before KC...

Still don`t expect this to be easy,

But, I think it is a very important game to win!

    GO STEELERS!!!:herewego!:

Yea, I see match up problems with their receivers and tight end. Wasn't their TE hurt and missed some games last year. That is why I think they are better this year.

We will have to tackle better than we did in KC, their rb's are scary good, as are their
wr's and TE. We have to bring it Sunday. Have to want it more.

Without a doubt...and we struggled all day with Kelce. Hopefully, we do some homework before kickoff.

They wont win this division if we beat them twice, and match them in the win column, we match up well statistically, their offense has scored 182 points, we have scored 158 points and that's with Ben missing 4 games, their defense has allowed 122 points, our D has allowed 131, that's only a 9 point differential, and no doubt we have the best quarterback.........

Right. Let's say we win out and they loose two to us and drop any other game. We win the division.
Sure it's not looking great right now, but to say the division is out of reach is a false statement.

I keep reading that Cincy has not beaten anybody with a winning record. Seems to me we should look at our own record, how many teams have we lost to the last few years with losing records. We seem to lower our standards when we play these lower rated teams and get our a**** kicked.

We didn't have the talented offense like the one we have now the last few years either, and the two games we lost recently was because we didn't have Ben behind center, with 9 games left they don't have the luxury to under estimate any of the opponents they have left, at a minimum we have to go 7-2 to have a shot at a playoff seed....
