Cam Heyward Lost His Appeal

    Heyward lost his appeal for the $5,787 fine for wearing "Iron Head" eye black. He says he's not going to continue wearing it, because he wants to be a good teammate and not cause further distractions for his team.

    It would be cool if a lot of fans put on the same eye black that says "IRON HEAD" for the next home game: support Cam and stick it to Goodell at the same time.

    50 000 fans violating the NFL dress code would be first page sports news everywhere.

    Next home game the Steelers should hand out eye black stickers with Iron Head on them to the fans! That would be an awesome gesture and relatively cheap for a PR move!!

    OMG! the fact that everyone had the same idea shows how messed up the NFL's policy is! Of course I'm military and we're not allowed to just decorate our uniforms to show support for causes. (Unless it's a gay pride parade in California for a political candidate sanctioned by the Pentagon.) No one is making money off of merchandise sales of uniform items though.

    Okay Heyward, you proved your point in honoring your dad, but keep in mind the next time you do it you will be suspended and this defense needs you on the field, so don't push your luck.....

    I'd do it!! just need eye black stickers and a white paint marker.

    awful what the NFL will crackdown on, but I guess the hot shorts and stipper boots for the "dancers " that tramp around the OTHER teams fields are approved and deemed appropriate for dress code at a family event.

    Leave Cam alone .
